Lubinda Fired

sata and lubindaEmbattled Foreign Affairs Minister Given Lubinda has been relegated to the backbench in Parliament an indication that he has been removed from his ministerial position.

Ordinarily, Members of Parliament not holding Ministerial positions are supposed to seat on the backbenches.

And Speaker of the National Assembly Patrick Matibini told the house that he had been informed of the changes made resulting in Mr Lubinda being relegated to the backbench while his deputy Effron Lungu has moved to the front bench.

Dr Matibini who could not elaborate further on the changes said further details would be given.

The Speaker was ruling on a point of order raised by Zambezi west Members of Parliament Charles Kakoma who wanted to know whether it was in order for Mr Lubinda to seat on the backbench.

Dr Matibini in his ruling said the Kabwata MP was in order to sit on the backbench.

Mr Lubinda has been facing disciplinary action from his party on allegations of treachery and disloyalty.

There have been growing calls from PF members demanding his expulsion from the party.

Any way that’s the game. African politics Lubinda should have known well. I pit the defectors from other parties esp MMD. I fear for them, the big man is no game.

Iwe Kalanga street kid, To you evry1 is envious & bitter. If it were HH asking Sata 2 adress the nation U wud av said same things.
The fact is Sata cant adres the nation through a Press Conference coz his Intellect is low. In short he is dull 2 answer the press on live TV.
Why did U even bring in Miyanda wen the topic is Lubinda. U a street riff-ruff who shares the same inferiority complex as your President.

BA M.I.G, IF LUBINDA HAS BEEN LOYAL TO PF THRU AND THRU IS REASON FOR HIM TO EVEN BE MORE LOYAL AFTER WINNING THE ELECTIONS. DISCIPLINE MUST BE ENFOCED AT ALL LEVELS OF ORGANISATION. HOW CAN ONE LOYAL LUBINDA BE LEAKING INFO TO UPND? HE DESERVED IT. BUT, THE BEST THING HE CAN DO IS TO APPOLOGISE AND START MENDING HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH PF. THE WORST THING HE CAN IS DENOUNCING PF. HE WILL NOT REGAIN RESPECT FOR THAT.

Lubinda has never been with PF through and through, you ****** idiots. We suffer for PF when Ludinda was moving from one party to another. He has been disloyal to the party hence he should go to UPND.

For those asking the president to address the nation… to tell you the truth Miyanda is a bitter and ****** chap. We PF promise to the people of Zambia a government of action— a working government, not a government of press conferences. Good night

The decision PF has made of firing Lubinda will reflect back to them, because looking at the man himself Lubinda is very serious with business and very influential. I feel Pity for him and am sure the people who are behind this will see the consequences for this.

Sata is secretly reshuffling the cabinet without informing the nation, what does he think this country is – his household?. He should have the etiquette and decency to inform the nation . By the way who are the real members of PF?

Fire Lubinda and we will vote him back in Kabwata. My advice is that let him stand as an independent other than joining another party for fear of being accused of being a Political Hule.
I think PF are losing it.

Am not so sure if winter himself has concrete evidence on what they imposed on Hon. Lubinda, I believe there is more to dat between winter and Lubinda. Any way, what PF doesn’t knw is dat they haven’t just Lubinda but PF as a party. Certain pipo are worth keeping and solve arising issues internally. That’s the way it goes in politics.

Winter whatever your name is, you are a disgrace both to your family and this nation at large. Firing Lubinda has really proved to me that there are no morals in PF that’s why they have failed to find anything holding against Lubinda. As we speak today no evindence has been made known to us.
    This is really pathetic.

It takes time to build honesty, trust and loyalty. But it is very easy to lose them dear friends. The coin has two sides, and it can fall in either way. Lets not condem the PF over displin, let lubinda answer the charges as well. PF is not Lubinda, and they did not win because of lubinda. These wrangles started before even winning the elections. Given was removed from being spokesperson before the general election. Where were you people who are supporting him today? please ask yourself why was he removed from that position? again why was he moved from Ministry of information and broadcasting? If you are a good analyst you will know for sure what happen. But for the president,it is also wrong to drop him silently.
