Nyirenda Dumps ZESCO For Mozambique Club HCB Songo
Zesco United coach Wedson Nyirenda has left the MTN/FAZ Super Division club to join Mozambique side HCB Songo.
Nyirenda quit the Zesco job just one year into a three year contract with the three-time Zambia league champions after earlier dumping his position at Zanaco.
Zesco secretary Justin Mumba said Nyirenda, who has since left for Mozambique, had confirmed Nyirenda was joining Songo who finished fifth last season.
“He told me that he had joined HCB Songo of Mozambique. (His assistant) Dabid Chilufya is also going with Nyirenda,” he said.
Nyirenda won back-to-back league titles in his first tenure at Zesco in 2007 and 2008 including a treble in the former year.
He finished third in his second tenure in 2012 on 54 points, two less than Power Dynamos and a further seven behind champions Zanaco whom he coached from 2009 to 2011.
Meanwhile, Zesco have appointed Nyirenda’s first assistant Tennant Chembo as interim coach for the opening six months of the 2013 MTN/FAZ Super Division season.

Zesco New application and new connection in Garden House plots please BA tumfweko come in and help us.For us customs, for us to have a quotation do we have to be paying Zesco staffs for a quotations and cable to connect our home please help out if you can .Ask any one connected in these areas if the staffs have not asked for some funds. please help us poor ones , i do’nt have money to pay the guys to give me quotation. Am a Garden House resident. It’s bad what is happening in Garden House Zesco Connection.

There is nothing wrong we all look at the benefit of remaining stagnant and moving on to face other challenges particularly if the offer is lucrative he has no option coz we all want good life for ur selves and family.Infact he is better off than me because I stole money from the poor Zambians but him is working for it.
