PRESS RELEASE: Why Monde Was Expelled
Fellow Comrades.
Once again the United Party for National Development UPND, has demonstrated its unwavered resolve to tirelessly fight the evils that impose hardships, hunger, hopelessness and despair on the lives of the majority ordinary Zambians.
The expulsion of the dishonorable Monde, signifies the resolve of the UPND to inculcate discipline, commitment, loyalty and sacrifice for the party that truly speaks for the marginalized, neglected poor people of this country that is endowed in richness but the majority of its people live in abject poverty.
Mr. Monde chose to sellout and fallout of the struggle to fight for a better Zambia for all, through the UPND to join a club that dines and wines on the top ivory tower with those that take food from the mouths of hungry and ordinary Zambian men women and children. This act of treachery is immoral and shameful.
His decision to join a club that has lost its direction, relevance to the majority youth, that creates unnecessary expensive bye elections in the wake of meallie meal shortages, looming hunger with the failed farming season, dilapidated health system and infrastructure and rampant killings of youths due to lack of police presence. He has decided to sleep with people who abrogate the constitution in a wholesale fashion. This is a reflection of Mr. Monde’s character, values and moral standing.
As Lusaka Province Youths, we welcome the overdue extermination of Monde from our ranks and file. His choice to abandon the people of Itezyi-Tezhi will hound him.

There u go again,u expell Monde and want to blame the PF government for the bye elections.So who has caused this bye election? PF will welcome Monde,adopt him and he will win the elections. U have just given PF another seat. UPND and MMD need to wake up and find a way of working with the Government in Power or else u will lose all your MPs. PF has everything to gain from your actions. Talk about shooting yourself in the A**. Monde ure now in government, pliz deliver development to Itezhi Tezhi. Ure now free to meet his excelency any time and talk developmental issues

UPND are pathetic and selfish characters who will not be able to lure majority voters in the near future. The maturity that the party showed and exposed during the Mazoka time, has completely been lost and and many are falling out with them. What is wrong for them to work with the govt? Why can’t they work to change what is wrong in the govt by letting their MPs contribute to govt business other than stay out and condemn all the time. Every MP has something they can do for the govt and thereby serving the people.

I wonder what this means if UPND speaks for the poor than they would have let Monde to save in opposition/ PF government;
1. MPs are voted in their offices to save people not just seat and speak negative on government issue and not offering solutions.
2. UPND 1day will be in power how do they expect their MPs to work without having anywhere to start from.
3. When u are on the bunch u can c a lot of mistakes your friends are making but if u are in the game u can’t cause u in the reality of things.

How can anyone worth his name really support HH? It is not discipline and commitment to party ideals when it is only HH’s hatred for other people. He feels he alone can rule but how many times has he been rejected democratically? How can anyone continue to hold on to the guy? The expulsion of Monde is clear sign of undemocratic tendencies in the UPND and that’s not good for this country. He is now advocating for federalism so that he can at least be governor for Southern Province – how so sorry! My province rise up and remove HH from our party before it really goes into extinction.

LIke what my previous friend has just asked.who has realy created a bye election in Itezi Itezi? Is’t PF or UNPD? ObviuislY its upnd which has caused that.We all heard what the President said when he swore in the Deputy Minister.He said go and work for the people in your area and the country as a whole.He never talked about bye elections.The issue is,and this really makes me buffled,whenever the so called educated ones hear the president say something, they interpret it in their own retrogressive ways to sway us.So the opposition has caused this bye election.How can you vow not work with the ruling government? Its like in those days when Watchtowers refued to take their children to school,never to sing national anthem,but accepted government money.The amplies to our friends in opposition .

The Undemocratic People with No Direction (UPND), I feel sorry for you. Why are you so arrogant? Open your eyes, humble yourselves and work with government. Allow your MPs to be appointed. I remember when the able man Mr. Chibamba Kanyama was appointed MD ZNBC, some of our colleagues from the UPND cursed him and thought he did not make a wise decision to accept the appointment. examples are many where you people have discouraged friends from Southern Province willing o serve the people to accept appointments at any level in the PF government. Why are you so negative about PF. Today you are saying that “the President should have his brain checked”, that is an insult. Is that “checks and balance” that you are providing to government? Change, you have indeed become Undemocratic People with No Direction. I really miss the UPND under the late Mazoka (MHRIP)which I voted for at the time

Now to may fellow zambians this is the question. what should be the priority of a governemnt. A) to spent sleepless nights searching bank accounts and Wasting money poaching MPs. OR B) to develop the country and create employment. the deference between UPND and PF is that PF is doing option A while UPND will do option B. I rest my case.

Has to partner with representatives of those areas.If pf did not appoint opposition mps to ministerial positions upnd would still be complaining of the govt.not wanting to work with the opposition so ba opposition be real & partner with govt.
