Mayuka Set For Newcastle Trip
Emmanuel Mayuka is expected to make Southampton’s trip to Newcastle on Sunday following his return to The Saints bench in their 3-1 win over Manchester City on February 9.
The 22-year-old Zambia striker hopes to make the final 18 team for the second successive time since returning from 2013 Africa Cup of Nations duty at the start of February.
“Emmanuel Mayuka will be looking to put himself into contention after making the bench for the win over Manchester City,” Southampton stated on its official website.
Mayuka’s last saw action for 15th placed Southampton on December 22 in a 1-0 home loss to Sunderland.
