Power Dynamos coach Beston Chambeshi salutes Mukuka Mulenga’s inspired display in their 2-1 Charity Shield win over Zesco United.
The Zambia midfielder and Mamelodi Sundowns target stepped up a gear in the Charity Shield on Saturday with an eye-catching midfield display that he capped with the winning goal for Power.
“I can say I was expecting a lot from him and for sure he showed his true colours,” Chambeshi told MTNFootball.com.
Mukuka’s form against Zesco was an improvement from his subdued performance in Power’s 1-0 win over CR Caala of Angola on February 17 in their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round first leg match in Kitwe.
“I hope he can continue where he has left off,” Chambeshi said.
The 2012 MTN/FAZ Player of The Year scored Power’s second goal with a superb long-range effort after a dazzling run with the ball from halfway inside Zesco’s half.

Mukuka pleeease do not go to Mamelodi Sundowns of SA. You will be run down. Improve on your skills and head for Europe instead.
