‘Publish Picture Of Escaped Dangerous Criminals Who Escaped From Mukobeko’
Dear Editor,
IT is now more than two weeks since three dangerous criminals on death row escaped from Kabwe’s Mukobeko Maximum Prison. However, apart from the KR30,000 reward the government is offering to anyone with information to help recapture the escapees, nothing has been done to alert the general public.
I expect the public media in co-operation with the Prison authorities to publish images of the escapees. As a resident of Kabwe I am living in fear as the escapees are dangerous criminals who might stage felonies while on the run.
Furthermore, it is not surprising that criminals can escape from a maximum prison because of suspected corrupt security personnel. Honestly, how did knives, screw drivers and drugs find themselve in holding cells of the inmates?
Some people deserve sacking at Mukobeko Prison because their incompetence is a threat to the security of the nation.

i will not be suprised if i see these criminals working somewhere in a PF office. PF is a place for criminals. just look at a certain guy called opa hamianze, he is an escaped convict and now he works for miles sampa in the PF matero office and spends the day wasting tax-payers money to insult UPND on radio.

The news may be stale but what the bloggers are saying is valid: we need sane inquisitions here. Where is the ‘maximum’ maximum prison? Someone ought to open their mouth!

prisoners escaping from prisons country wide is my great concern. police officers work tirelessly to find evidence which can see these criminals convicted by the courts of law and eventually go to prison where they escape.I feel prison officials should do something which can prevent these escapes
