THE Lusaka High Court has ordered an interparte hearing in the matter of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Greyfold Monde who is seeking an injunction to restrain the United Party for National Development (UPND) from expelling him.
High Court judge Evans Hamaundu made the order yesterday after refusing to grant Mr Monde an ex-parte order because what he is challenging has already taken place (expulsion).
“I will order that the injunction be heard interparte, suffice to say that as I hear the interparte, should it appear to me that the plaintiff may become prejudiced before concluding the interparte, I may grant an interim order. This matter will come up on March 4, 2013,” Mr Justice Hamaundu said.
Mr Monde has sued the UPND through its secretary general Winston Chibwe and wants the court to nullify his expulsion.

If there is a way that the Judge can avert the expulsion? I beg for such a decision so that we avoid more Mapatizya killings. After all, the appointment is constitutional! Ba Justice, help our nation.

Iyo chachine niwe kakolwe!!! This PF spy has no room in UPND. He already said he does not care what UPND will do to him. So let him go and stand on Pama Fi (PF) party and see if he can win.

You can’t mess up in southern province whether it is in the villages or town. people are aware of plunderers like Monde. Watch the space. this Commerce minister Siamunene will also start begging courts to intervene because of the fear that he would lose all the same.

@Bupe & John, Thanks guys. Am sure you have noted that I speak from an arsenal of knowledge. Amusa mwanamwambwa knew that Faustina Sinyangwe & the gang were going to lose their seats but he pushed courts to thwart PF’s (in opposition) move to expel them. Thus money saved for sweet Zambia!

If appointing an opposition mp to a ministerial position is constitutional then I find it unconstititional for the UPND to expel Monde.Case dismissed!!!
