Romanian-based striker Fwayo Tembo, 23 says he is ready for a Zambia recall after two years in the wilderness.
The ex-Zambia Under-23 player of Romanian club Astra Giurgiu has not received a senior call-up since late 2011 under former coach Dario Bonetti.
Fwayo said he was ready to play against Lesotho on March 24 in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier should Herve Renard consider him for the game.
“All is well with me. It will be good if I am included in the team because I am 100 per cent ready to play for the national team,” Fwayo said.
Fwayo is enjoying a revival of form in Romania after two forgettable stints in Tunisia and Switzerland at Etoile du Sahel and Basel respectively.
The striker is in his first season at Romanian club Astra Giurgiu since Basel released him last year and has so far scored five goals in 13 games for his new club.
