Micheal Chilufya Sata:: The Most Responsible Opposition Leader Africa Has Ever Had

I just want to reflect on the current president heart for this country when he was in opposition:
1. 2001 PF lost and it was a clean loss 2.2006 PF lost and it was not a clean loss and people were ready to go on the street to fight for their justice. However the PF president Micheal Sata stopped them and said let us swallow a bitter pill as we have only one Zambia.
There was peace in the country ,not because of the police but because of the responsible Micheal Sata. 3. 2008 PF lost and this was really a hot one. The whole country wanted to go on the street and some even started in Mandevu and copperbelt province.
PF leader again stopped the violence and there was calm in the nation. One question I ask myself is that can HH,Nevers Mumba, Elias Chipimo do that??? HH and Nevers are on record of causing violence and even campaigning outside Zambia that we the people we suffer. Let us see through the heart of our would be leaders before we give them big support. I wish MC all the good health and long life.

what a rubbish article. Micheal Chilufyanya Satan was an arrogant,violent, disrespectfull opposition leader. saying that micheal satan is a good man is an insult to the people who were hacked with pangas by his cadres in chawama. Micheal Chilufyanya Satan(yoko) is a useless man.

That could be true except that the author of the above article left out many other facts like patience(not an easy thing to be in opposition for over 10yrs) & still remains srong & a lot ohers.

WHEN I READ THE ARTICLE TITLE I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE A LONG ACCOUNT. THIS IS BECAUSE SATA AND PF WENT THROUGH A LOT OF PROVOCATION BOTH BY LEVY AND BANDA IT WAS ALMOST OBVIOUS THAT CIVIL WAR WAS GOING TO BREAK UP IN ZAMBIA. BUT, SATA’S INGENIOUS WAY OF HANDLING DISPUTES AND PROVOCATIONS AVERTED CIVIL WAR IN ZAMBIA. ZAMBIA (OF COURSE CARING ZAMBIANS) MUST BE PROUD OF THIS RECORD. LONG LIVE SATA LONG LIVE PF GOVT.

what about chawama saga?the insults on levy,rb? Of which if it was him who was a president being insulted,the oposition would be hanged.didn’t he cause riot on the c/belt 2005 which resulted into baning him on znbc tv coverage.didnt he destroy mmd by championing third term?what about the people he left homeles after destroying their homes in 1992?the man could say anything because levy or rb were better democratic than him.today the oposition hav to get a permit to visit markets which never hapened when he was oposing anyting.iam sure this articl was writen by a teenage.

Even though the info is correct, why not highlight other good qualities of sata to strengthen your case? And as a sensible writer why not point out some of his negative traits and weigh them against the positives 4 proper balance. And, if u are going to talk of africa, where are the examples of poor opposition leadership in africa in which sata has distinguished himself? Cant believe tumfweko would publish such a awful article. This is not a bad reflection on the writer, its a bad reflection on tumfweko.

Since this is a very invalid analysis,I wish to remind the author to provide us with methodology he or she used to come up with such conclusions!which scope and sampling method did he or she use because Africa is too wide. Provide us with your theoretical framework-lens you used to assume what is good leadership and what isn’t. The data over which this author is deriving his facts is so shallow. He is forgetting that the times when Sata lost elections HH also lost. Nevers Mumba also lost one election under the ADP party ticket. The two HH & Sata even went into a pact to try & mitigate the problem of perpetual election loses. Did HH go to war because of losing elections? The answer is a clear no. The Author must revisit his facts.
Those insulting Tongas because one chap calling himself “Tonga bull” has insulted the president are not being realistic. Anyone can call himself anything on these blogs. Insulting Tongas just shows how ****** you also are. Such behavioir might bring anarchy in this country. And why is it that people calling themselves Bembas on here are the ones insulting Tongas?
