UPND Claims PF Plans To Deregister It
The United Party for National Development (UPND) has claimed that the Patriotic Front government is planning to deregister it soon after the Lukulu west and Kapiri Mposhi by-elections.
Speaking at a Media briefing in Lusaka this morning, Party spokesperson Charles Kakoma says the PF want to create an impression that the UPND has been at the center of political violence that engulfed campaigns in Livingstone.
He says it is unfortunate that the PF is intending to implicate the opposition party in the violence and use it to ban the party.
Mr. Kakoma who is also Zambezi west Member of Parliament says such maneuvers will be met with intense resistance.
And party General Secretary Winston Chibwe has warned of stern action against UPND Members of Parliament who have allegedly been approached by the PF government for ministerial positions.
Mr. Chibwe the party is aware that MPs have been offered jobs but that should they accept the offers, the party will not hesitate to expel them.
He says there are a number of people in various constituencies capable of running as Parliamentarians to replace those that will accept jobs offers from the PF.

You chaps UPND supporter you suprise me how you can be so duft that you cannot realise that HH want your party to be jeopardised because he knows that he will never win an election and he knows that some of you will soon wake up and challenge him that he has been sponsored twice and flopped that it should be another persons chance.
HH knows very well that he cannot stand again because even him cannot imagine standing and face another certain brushing from the PF. He knows! SOOOO! he wants “Tufilile munsenga”. Chaps wake up!! comeonnn!

Iwe Wiston Chibwe what do you mean when you say that you will meet the gove with intnse resistance can you elaborate more echo mwipaila abantu. If the truth comes out that UPND had a hand in the death of Mr Chanda just know know that upnd will be deregistred period. Ever since violence started in upnd HH has been quiete he never spoken out to warn his cadres that they should desist from violence so he is the one in the fore front and today you are crying foul just wait the law will visit you one day.

UPND is a dead party. whatever these chaps do, they do it with violence and other things that Hakaivotela Humwine must answer in the courts.
i cant wait for that moment when UPND will be deregistered.
