“Imibinde” were the only things that covered our ancestors private areas. So I do not see how this dress code has devalued our culture. For those who think this is bad read your history books. If you cannot find anything go visit the Khoisan or bushmen and you will be taught how we dressed before the western world brought their dressing style. We changed the way the western world looked at dress code.
