Kennedy Sakeni Dares Amsterdam
Chief Government Spokesperson Kennedy Sakeni says International Lawyer Robert Amsterdam is welcome to enter Zambia to defend his client the former president Rupiah Banda in court only if he meets the country’s immigration qualifications.
This follows Mr. Amsterdam’s affirmation on Friday that he will be ready to defend the former republic president in Zambian courts for any corruption allegations leveled against Mr. Banda if the Zambian government will be courageous enough to allow him enter the country.
Mr. Sakeni said in an interview that if Mr. Amsterdam is to operate in Zambia as a lawyer, he also needs to be registered to practice in the country.

Tribunal is differenet from practicing in Court! Judges can participate in tribunals of fellow Commonwealth countries, and/or UN membe states: that’s why Justice Mumba was in The Hague…

what is so special about this lawyer,its like to much has been talked about him.
that why you make small lawyers popular because of the way you talk about them,after all,all the former presidents he has presented in court are rotting in jails.

He will deliberatly ignore the procedure of entry into Zambia so that when he is denied entry he will say the Zambian judiciary is afraid of him. Meanwhile alenyopola ulwa ba RB.

Infact let him come and answer charges for a ‘deformation of charlecter’ for calling all Zambians “Useful Idiots”, plz LAZ, DPP and the ZP fold your sleeves and prosecute this valture in the name of a lawyer. This case will be titled Amsterdam vs The people of Zambia. As Zambians we refuse to be called ‘useful idiots’ as stated by this ‘Sakalanyongo, Mwansa Kabinga’.

Quiet Interesting that one Amsterdam is terror to Zambian democracy and I hope and wish all our mafias can protect our interest by dealing with this guy. Why is he so interested in RB’s cash. RB, when mola is gone all those surrounding you will be gone. Look around your lawyers and see anyone genuine. Find correct lawyer with your case at heart and not your wrong adviser Amsterdam. Look how far he has landed you. All Zambians sympathized with you until you got cheated by Amsterdam to boycott summons. He is now insighting the Zambian Immigration to stop him from entering the country because he knows he has lost. Mudala, again wrong advisers. MPs can walk out of Parliament in protest but was that the way to protect you? NO. They simply agreed with the Speaker but did not want to be part of voting so that they deliver you to jail. If they had stayed behind and voted, it would have made a difference. Wish u good luck deserted man.
