Renard: People Are Expectant

Renard-PatriceHerve Renard says he has heard a lot of comments spoken about his team but he knows what is expected of him.

Speaking to bolazambia.com from the team’s training ground in Johannesburg, the straight-talking Frenchman said he knew what the Zambian people were expecting but they should also know what he expected from them.

“A lot of comments have been said by a lot of people. I know what the people are expecting from me,” said Renard whose team came under fire for a first round exit at the 2013 Africa Cup.

“They should also know what I expect from them. We know what we have to do in the game against Lesotho.”

The Chipolopolo entered day two of training with all the players reporting to camp.

Zambia has set up base in Milpark and is training from the University of Johannesburg grounds.

The fallen African kings will travel to Maseru on Friday though there are plans to press for charter that could see the team fly to Lesotho on Saturday, a day before the match.

if we have to keep the dream of qualifying to the first ever world cup alive,we must win this one, knowing Lesotho very well they can be a tough nut to crack at the sesotho stadium but i know and believe that zambia will be equal to the task. am so happy we have boys like fwayo back in the squard though i shud have loved to see clifford too,but what ever the case we have no reason to fail to collect the three point from lesotho,it is actually difficult to lose that game than to win. mweene will be in between the posts and i pray that sunzu will make the starting line up to partner HH in central defence, nkausu and mbola will definately man the right and left back with no doubt unless chisamba will be favoured for either of the two. the french man will still keep faith in Nathan and Chansa in the middle of the pack as defensive and attacking midfeilders respectively, tho there is an option of the sharp minded Mukuka Mulenga for chansa.Kalaba(master)enjoying top form will be a sure starter on the left flank with ba Chris on the right. up front i would love king David(mbesuma) to partner sakuwa but knowing the way the french man loves mayuka the later seems to be favourite to start.shud this team fail to tick, the french man will make a tactical change by introducing fwayo or mudenda of the flanks with sakuwaha replacing king david. all in all lets just pray for the best, the boys we have in the squared are capable of beating any opposition and that does not exclude LESOTHO. GO ZAMBIA GO.
