Siavonga Man, 45 Nabbed for Defiling 15-Year-Old Daughter
A 45-year-old man of Siavonga has been arrested by a neighborhood watch group for allegedly impregnating his 15-year-old daughter.
Neighbourhood officer, Benson Mumba, told ZANIS in an interview yesterday that the man of Kanyelele compound was arrested on Tuesday around 18:00 hours.
This was after his wife reported to the neighbourhood watch group that her husband was having sex with his daughter and she had since gotten pregnant.
And suspect’s wife, Gladys, narrated that on unknown dates but early this year, her husband allegedly had sex with his daughter for about five times whenever she went out in the field to till land for planting crops.
“I didn’t know that my husband was going out with my daughter, I came to know about their affair when I was told by a neighbour. It’s really embarrassing because I never expected this to happen to my daughter, who has a two-month pregnancy although we have not yet taken her to the hospital,” she said amid sobs.
And police in Siavonga have also confirmed the arrest of the man whose identity has been withheld. He is in custody at the local police station and will appear in court soon
