Dora Siliya Personal Character ‘Could this be a reflection of her social background?’

Dear Editor,

A YOUNG person can outgrow his or her juvenile delinquency but for adult delinquency I am not so sure. Politicians out of their own free will open themselves up for public scrutiny and analysis by running for public office. Their private affairs and personal character become issues of public interest and concern.

The insulting gesture made in parliament by Dora Siliya was disappointing and sad. Could this be a reflection of her social background? This is not the first time this madam is giving us a snippet of her personal characteristics. We still remember during the general election campaigns when she was distributing gay photos as a campaign tactic.

At one campaign forum she was taunting men and flaunting herself in praise of her soft body parts. She even had to drag an innocent ex-husband into her political tantrums.

To imagine that this is a person representing descent people of Petauke and was a former education minister in charge of our curious young minds in schools. I just hope the education curriculum was not tampered with nor contaminated with traces of such delinquencies.
This may look like a simple matter. It is not.

The fact that she raised that insulting finger gesture in full view of this Christian nation, in the people’s house and in front of elders speaks volumes about lack of basic respect and moral uprightness. where is the etiquette and decorum of Parliament? Does the opening prayer conducted at every sitting mean anything to people like Ms Siliya?

What has MMD her party led by a pastor got to say about this. Parliament through Mr Speaker {Patrick Matibini] needs to instill some discipline into some of these uncultured people before hell breaks loose.

It is possible, in life, to isolate deviant behaviour in society. If it be that the affected person is adamant, we let natural course take over. In Dora’s case its only 3 years more!

EXACTLY! Early childhood, especially from birth 2 abt 7years,is critical in growth and devpt and is highly influenced by the environmental stimuli. An adult’s manifestations in terms of behavior are simply a sum total of his/her childhood experiences which also contribute 2 the adult’s mental problems, obesity, criminality and so on. In the case of Mama Dora, her behavior speaks volumes about her social environment which cn be traced back to her childhood. Wishing you a quick recovery coz u seem 2 be suffering frm a chronic mental prblm…

IT IS A VERY SIMPLE MATTER. IF ACCORDING TO MMD, RAISING THE MIDDLE FINGER IS A MERE GREETING THEN THE WHOLE HOUSE SHOULD BE GREETING MMD MEMBERS WITH A RAISED MIDDLE FINGER. BUT ON THE CONTRARY, IF THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THE HOUSE WHO FEEL INSULTED BY THAT GESTURE, THEN DORA SHOULD APPOLOGISE TO THEM. AS FOR KAINGU, IT IS DIFFICULT TO COMMENT. BUT THE RECORD IS THERE:
    1. HE IS THE FATHER OF A PORN STAR CALLED IRIS.
    2. HE TORE THE PRESIDENTS SPEECH ON THE FLOOR OF THAT SAME HOUSE.
    3. AND NOW THE SUPPORTER OF THE RAISED MIDDLE FINGER.

In as much as I find the gesture tasteless, I on the other hand feel this is the true level the august house has degenarated to. Look at Sata’s acrimonious speech when opening parliament, just what kind os masalamusi was that? And everything from there Sata’s speech has been all downhill. Dora’s gesture could actually be an understatement of the stinking excrement this arm of government has sank into. Nearly everyday of deliberations, the only thing uppermost in their heads is selling-out to CNP thus sparking costly bye elections. They are all stinking idiots, including Dora herself to whom four of the other fingers on that hand were pointing towards.
