Gesh Picked For African DJ Awards

ZAMBIA’s talented Disc Jockey DJ GeshGroove has been nominated for the 2013 African Global DJ Awards AGDA Awards for BEST SOUTHERN AFRICAN DJ.

The African Global DJ Awards “AGDA Awards” is a non-profit organisation and it is created to recognise and celebrate the talent of the greatest DJ’s in Africa and diaspora.

Owner of Flava FM, Gesh has been drawn along five South African DJs namely BlackCoffee, Euphonik, DJ Naves, Naked DJ and Sizwe Dhlomo.

Being the only non-South African in this category, he stands to represent other African countries in the Southern region.

Gesh’s love for music dates back to his teenage years during which he displayed his skills as DJ for his school.

He then took his skills to the club mixing music for different nationalities, while earning himself some pocket money.

In his adult life, Gesh has performed at prestigious events among them Africa’s Top Reality TV Show, the Big Brother Africa.

Other countries he has performed in include: The UK, The USA, Australia, Holland and African countries including South Africa, Botswana, Namibia.

AGDA Awards focuses on the celebration of all genre of African music, and seek to let the world know the people who are helping drive

the music to success but also to recognise that the art of DJ’ing is a respected craft with world-wide impact.

According to the Press release the the award ceremony is scheduled for May 4, at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Ba kelce, LBC? The problem with LBC is that his biggest fan is LBC, Laughing madly at his own jokes. He really craws under my skin. He is light years behind chi.
