UNZA Ridgeway Campus Student Found Dead in Room
University of Zambia-UNZA Ridgeway Campus Student was yesterday found dead in his room.
Authorities picked up the body of 26 year old Leonard Sibajene, and the body is currently lying in the UTH Mortuary awaiting postmortem. Reports say that he was last seen on Thursday last week. But the cause of his death is not yet known.

I THOUGHT ACCOMMODATION WAS A PROBLEM AT UNZA SUCH THAT NO STUDENT WAS ACCOMMODATED ALONE BUT WITH FRIENDS,AS SUCH FRIENDS WOULD GIVE A GOOD ACCOUNT OF WHAT MIGHT HAVE OCCURED.IF HE WAS STAYING ALONE IT WILL BE UP TO INVESTIGATORS TO DO THEIR JOB.TOO BAD FOR THE BOY

Accomodation is a problem at Unza, but not for senior students at ridgeway. U owez get a large, spacious single room. Ask any former student!

Such deaths are common at ridgeway and not the UNZA main campus.Even last year one student was found dead in the room. Can it be that these students poison each other?just asking…

Its a great loss into the family and the nation a larges as he could have served alot of lives if couldn’t have died. condolences to the bereaved family

So sad. During my time in 1984/85 we lost our colleague in a similar manner. he was found dead in his room in D-block. I will never forget that day.
Its so sad.
