Zanaco coach Keagan Mumba says their 1-0 loss to Red Arrows is demotivating ahead of their Champions League date with Orlando Pirates.
The Zambian champions visit Pirates this Saturday in a 2013 CAF Champions League first round, return leg tie after suffering their third defeat in four games on Sunday in an MTN/FAZ Super Division home game against Arrows at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka.
Zanaco currently trail Pirates 1-0 from the first round, first leg tie played at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka on March 16.
“It was a bad day at the office it is a de-motivation in the sense that we are travelling to South Africa which is a crucial game,” Mumba said.
“We were hoping an outright win.
“It is a bearing ahead of the game the worst we could have done is a draw.”
Zanaco need to beat Pirates by 2-0 to overturn their first leg home loss to advance to the second round of the Champions League that kicks off during the weekend of April 19-21.
The Zambian champions meanwhile have yet to record a competitive since February 23 when they beat Napsa Stars 4-2 in the Charity Shield semifinals.
