Four Zanaco Injury Doubts Make Pirates Date
Four out of Zanaco’s five injury concerns have made the trip for Saturdays Champions League date against Orlando Pirates.
Missing is defender Michael Bwalya who failed to recover in time for Thursdays departure for Johannesburg. Captain and midfielder Henry Banda has travelled with the team together with defenders Lee Ngoma and Kunda Mushota.
This will be Mushota’s first outing after missing the first leg initially due to injury and later the death of his wife.
Meanwhile, defender Salulani Phiri too who had struggling with an injury is fit and was part of the 18-member travelling party that left Lusaka on Thursday morning.
The news means Zanaco’s entire starting 11 in that 1-nil home loss to Pirates on March 16 at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka has travelled for Saturdays first round, return leg meeting.
