Unconvincing Pirates Beat Zanaco To Advance In CAF Champions League

Orlando Pirates have advanced through to the second round of the ACL after a 2-1 victory over Zambian champions Zanaco on Saturday.
The result gives the Buccaneers a 3-1 aggregate success after they won the away leg in Lusaka three weeks ago.

Two quality goals from Khethowakhe Masuku and Mpho Makola sealed the victory for Bucs, while Musonda Mwape netted for Zanaco.

It was a game that never lived up to any great heights and Pirates were for the most part comfortable, though they did have some nervy moments in the second half when they appeared to take their foot off the gas.
