UPND Should Not Be Entrusted With Power To Govern – Scott
Dr. Scott has also wondered how the UPND would govern a country like Zambia which has many different tribes when the opposition political party is allegedly only a regional political party that is based in the Southern province.
Qfm’s Yande Musonda reports that the vice President said this when he addressed a political rally to campaign for the PF candidate, Eddie Musonda at Kapiri Mposhi’s Chankomo Basic School.
Dr. Scott has also accused the former Kapiri Mposhi Movement for Multi-Party Democracy(MMD)Member of Parliament, Lawrence Zimba, who has been adopted to re-contest the seat on the UPND ticket, of neglecting the people of Kapiri Mposhi.
Meanwhile UPND Secretary General Winston Chibwe has described the vice president’s statements as unfair as his party has presence in at least four out the ten provinces of the country.
Speaking in a separate interview with Qfm Mr. Chibwe has also accused the PF’s candidate in Kapiri Mposhi Eddie Musonda of not having the credibility to be the area MP as he was the one that was earlier allegedly rejected by the people in the 2011 generals elections.

Scott is right, upnd is an extremely tribal party which cannot be entrusted with Governance of this vast country with over 72 tribes.

mr g scott when things are good for all the people everyone will ackowledge that it is gud .you scott know very well how your forefathers believed that this country will not be in the hands of a black man. you support tribalism and regionalism by how you operate or are you too old to notice it and you call our beloved president hh names yu must be hopeless can you retire you are becoming irrelevant for this country.

Scott..do you honestly have the right to lecture us about tribe? Such statements are very divisive in nature, especially coming from the VP. We all know the dynamics of Zambian politics, Northerner will always vote for Sata because he’s one of them, as did easterners with RB. No one talked about this tribal nonsense with them. These politicians are leading us through a dangerous path! P.S. I’m a northerner/Muchinga but more importantly Zambian.

HATE speech by VP. If such came from HH he would have arrested by now. Shame you OLD man. We do not call u whiteman. We call u GUY. What if you stood as president and Zambians pass racial comments against u how would you feel. The current President started as a small tribal party but grew the party over a period of time. Lets not look at tribe but the PERSON.

Bembas and tongas will never be friends because of their personal tags’TRIBLELISM’ descibes them all even if bembas are much worse.I have seen tongas to be very accomodative when i lived with them and bembas to be struggling with life.Tongas are good people and everyone of us even if we insult them knw that.Lets check among ourselves and see how you relate with them.Lets not listen to politicians coz their agenda is to bring confussion.Be mindful that the Lord of Tongas is the same Lord of Bembas.I knw within myself,bembas are just afriad of tongas coz they wil be proved to be better leaders(tongas) than them.Tongas are peace loving people that is why rate of crime is lower than places dominated by bembas.

Try to understand issues here.Dr Scitt is just right who will go to State House with only three prvinces? Noone will go to State House without the input of Northern province, copprbelt and lusaka prvinces.Just like in the USA noone can go to White Housr without the State of Frolida.So forget about Hakainde going to State.

it is the same old story, in eyes of MMD it was never seen as a possibility for PF to form government and let alone run government.
Dr. Scott and all PF members are not even qualified to prophecy the failings of UPND. Every dog has his day, goes the saying. it is the same people who thought a black man would never be president in America. it is the same people who said man would never fly.
