FAZ Awaits FIFA Notice On Bonetti Ruling

FIFA said in reply to a media query over the matter that judgment was passed on March 19.

Bonetti revealed over the weekend that he had won his claim for unfair dismissal by FAZ in 2011.

“The Single Judge of the Players’ Status Committee dealt with the matter and passed his decision on 19 March 2013,” FIFA stated.

“However, as the decision is still to be formally notified to all the parties concerned, we are not in a position to further comment on the matter.”

FAZ too have declined to comment over the matter as they have yet to be availed to the ruling from Zurich.

Bonetti revealed on Friday that he had been notified by his legal representatives that he had won his claim for compensation.
