Zambia Shall Remain A Christian Nation, Fr Samasumo’s Proposal Dismissed

THE declaration of Zambia as a Christian nation has been upheld at the on-going national constitution convention after attempts by some delegates to remove and amend some paragraphs from the preamble in the draft constitution in a protracted debate.
This was during the convention plenary session chaired by Copperbelt University vice chancellor Muyunda Mwanalushi.
Zambia Episcopal Conference  spokesperson Paul Samasumo and some delegates to the convention argued that the declaration of Zambia as a Christian nation be omitted from the draft document.
Fr Samasumo said the declaration discriminates against Zambians who are not Christians as it can insinuate that they are “second class citizens”.
His views were however met with passionate resistance from many delegates who murmured in disagreement before he could ‘land’ his argument.
Fr Samasumo’s proposal was only supported by few delegates.

Fr Samasumo is an anti Christ sent from the dark world together with his supporters! His rank to that position must have been achieve through whitch craft.

Zambia happens to be the only country in the world that uniquely and openly identifies with Christ; unfortunately the world does not like it!

My dear friend, this is nothing! I ‘ve been to sites worse than this where I’ve survived with very high rankings from sickles like yourself!

All I can say is that, Zambia has not yet attained that level yet. You can tell by the postings that they are a peaceful bunch! Now you want to bring your rotten mind to this beautiful country, you lousy little cockroach!

In UK, they even have tarvens for people who are gay! What can you tell me, you sickle?

Fr. Is right. Those of you who support this discriminatory clause have never visited Islamic nations. Christianity is a way of life, its not about declarations. Jesus could have easily declared the whole world a Christian nation but he did not because it is a personal choice between an individual and God. Even if you declared yourself a Christian, if you are not Christ like – a Muslim who is upright is more Christian than you!!!

@ Sam, What do you mean? In Islamic countries, you cannot even a church. Here, we do not discriminate. They have their so called mosques everywhere, disturbing those of us who live near them. For your information, it is not about being upright. This declaration is a way of dedicating this country to God. Anyway, we know that most catholic priests are gay and Fr Samasumo knows that it is a sin, hence advocating for its removal. Some of you are talking about fornication, drinking alcohol etc, sin is not just about drinking alcohol and fornication. Rejection of Christ is the biggest SIN compared to the alcohol and fornication.

Freedom of worship is guaranteed under Zambian law. What is unconstitutional is singling out one religion over other religions, as Christian Nation implies. Soon or later, a constitutional amendment will be in the offing. Zambians need to learn to concentrate on fundamentals. It is better to avoid any controversial clauses. Let individuals make their own personal choices. Separation of Church and Sate is not negotiable. The die is cast

Zambia is not a Christian Nation. It only desires to be one. Thats different from being one. If it is a christian nation then laws should change to tally with christianity – No Fornication, adultery, polygamy etc.

Apart from the symbolic figurement that this country has been able to represent Zambia as a Chrstian Nation, and the resilience to uphold this pronouncement, it pays to look back and say, well I was there!

But, yet again, everyone is entitled to defend his/her beliefs. In the end, the truth conquers all!

He is one of the agents who will later come out as gay. Just wait and see. Sorry, Zambia will remain a Christian nation. Jesus Christ chose Zambia as one of the examples the world will use when they want to be Christian nations. Thank you delegates again. You said no to faggots and you have said yes to Christian nation. God be glorified and Aaaaaaaaaaaamen!

Can you justify to me why my country should be declared a Christian nation? To me Christianity is not true and I do not believe there was a Christ.

It will work out because the majority of Zambians are Christians and majority rules. Just like the president is not voted by every one but he becomes the president of even those who didn’t vote for him whether they like it or not. so if you are a non christian my dear just follow the majority and wait for your time if at all it will come. The good thing is let not your hearts be troubled because you will not be discriminated coz as Christians we believe that we are all equal in the eyes of God.

Ba Fr. what do you believe in ? If you are a christian you could speak something worth your faith. You are the same people hiding behind those collars that make Christianity difficult in Zambia. You have failed to live to the standard of christianity, so you think all should be like you. The declaration of zambia being a christian nation is the best one can think of. These so called ministers who come aganist declaration of zambia as a christtian nation are just hypocrites hiding behind those collars. They preach heresy, which ends up confusing people. Many people fail to following the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ because of such false teacher.

The reasons are simple: the Christians appear disoriented and wacko because the enermy hates them. You father appears to take care of you well because you are his children and this is your home. As for the Christian you were told that his world is not your home, so be strong.

My sister, you mind has been poluted so much that you can’t see the truth even if it was given to you.

You are so informed about my Bible yet you refuse to accept the truth. That was just cross fire! I’m sorry. But these are the end times. If the evil is putting up double time so shall we! If you feel injured, am sorry… I merely attacked the source of the thinking coz that is where my enemy hides!

Muslims have a law called Sha.. something, but as Christians, we want to hold onto something that may, if anything give this coutry pride!

You can declare yourself a Christian but if your deeds are that of the devil, you are of your father the devil and not a christian! Christians follow the ways of Christ hence the name. Are you sure Zambia is a Christian nation? Oh come on guys be serious. Behave like a Christian and you will be called a christian,in the opposite, you are not, simple!

To educate you slightly, or maybe you already know… Gay stuff is on the edge into Zambia. Thank goodness the majority are poor and so that nonsense is on the minimum: However, No sooner do we drop this clause than we will be up against alot of other negative rules as well.

Even Saul the then called apostle Paul was a non christian. He was very confident of what he was doing in such a way that he even asked a written permission to kill Christians. On his way Christ himself appeared to Paul and asked him why he troubled him.As from that date paul did great jobs for Christ because he was removed from the dark.let Christ appear to you so that you may be able to see. for iit was said they have eyes but they do not see, they have ears but they do not hear.
