PS Saves Chingola Mayor From Impeachment
Chingola Municipal Council was again yesterday treated to some comedy over political muscle twisting. The wrangles that started early last month purportedly over illegal land allocation by some councilors and the DC has proved to be actually false, going by the adhoc committee’s findings.
Insiders told Tumfweko.com that wrangles are actually perpetuated by the the Mayor (Kalebaila), District PF Chairman (Mupeta) and the former mayor(Mulongoti) who actually was once made to kneel down by Mr Sata and ask for forgiveness for demolishing people’s homes prior to 2011 elections.
“By the way, he is currently NAREP member but acts otherwise.This clique even used Councilor Mumba who is now suspended for six months, for the offence which the Mayor has also committed (issuing unauthorized statements to the media – gross indiscipline)but has gone scot-free.
Story on ground however is that Mupeta who is an old and re-circled politician has been vying for the postition of the DC a nd is unhappy that its gone to a vibrant young man while the former mayor(Mulongoti) and the current mayor have already started campaigning for Chingola and Nchanga constituencies MP-ship respectively.
Its drama at its best. When the findings of the committee were supposed to be tabled in the council chamber yesterday, Mr Msichili who is the Copperbelt Permanent Secretary acted to save the mayor by cancelling the meeting through an express letter.
If not checked, these old politicians will dent the party’s image because the poor want to see fruits of their votes as promised through the campaigns, not the torments that these selfish cadres want to put them in. Its a well known factor that shelter is a country problem and can easily cause the President lose grip on his seat if carelessly handled.” Sources Said.

We are aware of your dirty tricks.Corrupt councillors and their DC have once again connived to tell those illegal plot developers not to mention their names so that during the next plot allocations the same people will be”compensated” with others plots using other names since most of those dirty councillors are members of the PLANS WORKS AND REAL ESTATES COMMITTEE.But what you should know is that the issue is already in the public domain. You think you can all sacrifice Patunas? Do you think he is immune from prosecution?
For your information, the OP, ACC, Police and others have taken up this matter and the President is aware. You are in for it. We shall see how your DC will hide his illegally built house using dirty money with that big yard measuring about 200m by 60m and those two other plots at slab level. What a shame!Whether you like it or not, those illegal structures will be demolished and all culprits brought to book. You may think that your plan has worked today but wait for tomorrow.
And by the way who told you that mayor Kalebaila was to be impeached on that meeting? Was there such an agenda and who is misleading you? You need to understand standing orders very well.
ON Mulongoti, this man is popular and is not in any way linked to illegal land allocation. That is why you dirty chaps organised yourselves to ruin his properties but your time to face the law has come.And you also think that you can discredit Mulongoti by insinuating that he is NAREP? You got it wrong.May be President Sata is also NAREP because he took Chipimo to Brazil. Moreover stop being jealous of Mr. Mupeta. He has got children who are very educated.
Finally, let us tell you that we know a member(MMD) of the Chingola Municipal Council Ad hok committee who is feeding you with this wrong information. We know he wants to defect in order to get favors because we are reliably informed that he is also involved in illegal land allocation and has just bought a car.
Speaking to the press is never an offence. Can you stop the head of the council to answer press querries? Who is more senior between mayor and town clerk? The issue here is about purnishing corrupt elements, nothing else.

We have heard that corrupt DC George Sichula’s illegal plot in Chingola East has been corruptly numbered today with the Ndola Commissioner of Lands. If this rumour is true, I can assure you heads will roll. Whatever it takes Sichula will not survive. Boma ni Boma kwisa. And these opposition parties are very dull they can’t even blow this sensitive issue. You people, did’nt you used to see how President sata used to campaign? Wake up!
