‘Dont Boast Of Developemental Projects You Did Not Initiate’ PF Told
Opposition Movement for Multi Party Democracy (MMD) says the Patriotic Front should not boast about development projects it initiated while in power.
Speaking in an interview with Qfm, MMD Acting National Secretary Kapembwa Simbao says the MMD under the leadership of late president Levy Mwanawasa had embarked on a number of projects which the Patriotic Front government is claiming credit for.
Mr. Simbao says projects such as the Eurobond, link Zambia project and other road rehabilitation projects were initiated by the MMD.
Mr. Simbao states that it is wrong for the Patriotic Front government to boast about such projects when the MMD initiated them.
He says the PF should instead initiate their own projects for the Zambian people to be a better position to judge in future which government would have brought development to country between the MMD and PF.
Mr. Simbao adds that the MMD would have done much better had it been allowed to complete the projects it had initiated unlike what the PF is presently doing.

Nishani ya Simbao. What is your problem? You did not talk about those projects, how are we supposed to know about them if you did tell us? As far I am concerned, they are PF’s projects.

Sour grapes, I never heard of link Zambia under MMD. Besides MMD had twenty years to fullfill all these projects and failed,PF promised the same when they were in opposition and within 2 years they are implementing them. So Simbao just dissappear sha!!!

Simbao is probably the most dull politician in this current zambia.Twenty yrs you was in power and at no time you mention about “link zambia 8000KM projact” and “pave zambia 2000km until september,2011.Simbao you should not insult the pipo of zambia. How old is a child who was born in 1991? Simbao do not show your madness to the public instead show it in your bedroom and your wife should be your witness. In short shut up your probosiss.

Truly so Mr Simbao. All projects undertaken by Government are public concerns, funded by public funds – tax payers.
Apart from the need to be executed, above all they need careful planning. Most of the projects currently underway are included in the Sixth National Development Plan [SNDP].
Many thanks should go to all Zambians, especially the us the Tax Payers, including the Mwanawasa’s MMD – Certainly not to PF alone!

Simbao, if you had those ideas on paper but because your inertia you failed to implement them, then they are not worthy boasting about. We are interested in what we can see, not what is in your mind. Remember SHIMUCITA PANONO APOKELE MWIKALEFYE UMUKASHI. Yes PF can boast because we are seeing deeds not dreams.

even if MMD initiated projects the questions are; where and when did they do so? why should one do away with projects that all people of Zambia want because someone else initiated them?

1. How many bugdets has the PF. presented?
2. When will/was the PF budget be implemented?
For the Euro bind to be accepted by the financiers, it required a period of over two years to be studied, comparing the nations annual tax earns as well as monthly, in order to ascetain if the bond can be paid back. Mind you the bond is not a grant, it is a loan.
Now, how many years has the PF been in power. Wake up you PF stooges who do not understand economics. We can not be suprised at your ignorance. Try to cause a by- election on the (URBAN AREA) copperbelt, you will be shocked.
