This is a very good move in the right direction if only he can put the nominees together at national level at one place,observe their performances for some good time then he will be able to come up good teams.

@ patriot, he doesn’t need to monitor each and every player, there are other appointed coaches specifically for this task. In Europe it’s not always the coach who looks for players, there are scouts who monitors.

Even though this is a preliminary selection, the figure 162 is too large. how do you monitor the performance of these players? A 162 member team is a crazy idea. it simply shows that someone if failing to decide and does not know what he is doing.please short-list
