Man Gets 20 Yrs For Defiling Daughter
A Farmer of Kalulushi on the Copperbelt has been sentenced to 20 years imprisonment with hard labour for defiling his nine-year-old step-daughter.
Kitwe High Court Judge Catherine Makungu sent to jail Pascal Ngeleseni, 36, of Katuta area in Kalulushi after he admitted defiling the girl on March 2 this year.
In passing sentence, Ms Justice Makungu said Ngeleseni was going to jail for 20 years because the child he had defiled was his step-daughter who was young.
She said the girl was traumatised and would remain with the mental scar for a long time to come.
“The girl trusted you as her father and you took advantage of her as your step-daughter,” the judge said.
Facts before the court were that on March 2, this year, the girl was at home with Ngeleseni around 13:00 hours when he asked her to escort him to the field to collect bananas.
The court heard that when they reached the field, Ngeleseni told the girl to go behind an anthill and check whether there were bananas.
It was at this point that he followed her and pinned her down on the ground before defiling her.
The girl narrated that she shouted for help but to no avail since the field was far from the village.
She said after Ngeleseni had defiled her, he left her alone and when she went home, her mother noticed that she had blood stains on her clothes.
When her mother asked, she narrated what had happened to her and the accused was reported to the police and later apprehended.
In mitigation, defence lawyer Ignatius Chongwe asked the court to exercise lenience as the accused had admitted the charge in the lower court and regretted having committed the offence.

Why ask an animal to mitigate? If l am the judge l would allow such …………. My sentence is to hung him by the balls till pronunced dead. Go pa East point and Break point in Kabwata or Vubwi Roads around 23pm you will find the v***** any type you want

Ok, so who is better and carries a bigger sin, he who sleeps with his own flesh n blood or two consenting adults in a gay relationship? Typical of bena Zambia to call it a Christian nation when someone defiles their own child,who will be traumatised for life and get what happens behind closed doors by 2 grown ups should provoke such, hatred, where’s the sense in that.
