Fr Bwalya Says The SATA We Supported Died Long Time Ago ‘Sata has lost an opportunity to be the Messiah for this country’
Out spoken Catholic priest Father Frank Bwalya has announced that he is immediately forming a political party.
Fr Bwalya who recently resigned his position on the ZESCO board as Chairperson in a move he said was meant to reclaim his voice, says President Michael Sata has lost it and that time has come for Zambians to start waiting for the next messiah.
He says President Sata is no longer the same caring person Zambians knew before he became president.
He says he made the decision to form a political party last night as part of the visions that God has been showing him.
Fr Bwalya says he has a vision for a Zambia which will have not street kids among other things.
He adds that people challenging him to form a political party are scared because they know that their stay in power is threatened.
QFM News reports that Fr Bwalya says his political legacy in Zambia has dawned, and has promised to introduce a new type of politics.
He has further announced the launch of a yellow card campaign against the PF government for failing to keep mealie meal prices low and its selective prosecution.
And Fr Bwalya says he will not reveal the name of his political party until such a time when it is right to do so.
He says this is to void the hijacking of the name of his yet to be launched political party.
And Youth and Sport Minister Chishimba Kambwili accused Fr Bwalya of being a bitter and confused priest who is running mad.
Mr Kambwili who is also PF national youth Chairperson accused Fr Bwalya when he called in to Radio Phoenix’s ‘Let The People Talk’ were Father Bwalya was featuring of misleading the people of Zambia.
He advised Fr Bwalya to go back to his calling and let go his bitterness.
Mr Kambwili accused Fr Bwalya of having approached him to form a political party when he was removed as Foreign Affairs Minister something he turned down.
He says Father Bwalya has had presidential ambitions for a longtime.
“I am calling on other opposition leaders like Hakainde Hichilema to come together and save the people of Zambia from this impending disaster by the PF government. People should not judge Mr. Hichilema by the lies that have been perpetuated by other people in the past,” he said.
Fr. Bwalya who said his interest was not the presidency for now said asked other opposition leaders like Mr. Hichilema and Nevers Mumba to welcome him in fighting a common of removing the PF government.
He said as someone who suffered a lot for PF, by merely selling badges and books while campaigning for the party, he feels let down by how the struggle has been lost, including non-fulfilment of promises to the people.
And calling on the same programme, Sports Minister Chishimba Kambwili told Fr. Bwalya not to mislead the people of Zambia by being over-ambitious.
“You are just a very ambitious and confused Fr. Bwalya who will not go anywhere. People are cheating you and you should go back to the pulpit as you are getting mad,” said Mr. Kambwili.
He disclosed that when he (Kambwili) was demoted as Foreign Affairs Minister, Fr. Bwalya went to his office to lure him to resign and form a political party because they were popular enough, but Kambwili refused.
“Umuntu nga afuma kubupatili,alamba ukupena, so Bwalya nawamba ukupena. Bwelelamofye ku church ulepususha abantu,” Kambwili said.
Kambwili said there was no way Fr. Bwalya can blame the PF for fuel price increase because there are very few beneficiaries of fuel since many people do not drive.
But in response, Fr. Bwalya said from now the people of Zambia will judge who is mad between those who are stealing people’s money in government and himself.
Fr. Bwalya has since appointed former PF member Eric Chanda as the first Secretary General and Emmanuel Chilekwa as Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations.

What Kambwili said is true. Fr Bwalya is running mad. All those who leave priesthood develop an abnomality. Its either they become drunkards,womanisers,mad or they will have broken marrieges or may not find employment anywhere. This reminds me some two years ago before starting his press briefing he used to play the national antherm. Little did I know that the priest was power hungry. He abused radio chengelo full time. We shall see the radio he will use. Can the catholics issuie a statement to disasociate itself frm this insane demon otherwise pipo might think he is being sponsored by the church

Do you know when Kambwili died? He was PF when he first came into power, including Hon Michael, but alas, it is all quite now. What the president should start thinking about now is, “why did it take so long for him to be president?” The simple answer is… he fell out of favor because his heart was never with the people but himself. Wait and see.
To quote Sata: “I will not have it if the poor person on the street does not have it.” Today, he is worrying about dried lawn when people in shanties do not have water. Soon, he will start slash fund. Or he has already begun…Livingstone].
Leadership is not about money. It is about a shared spirit. If you watched the remarks made by the Nigeria Coach after they played Zambia in recent Africa Cup, then your eyes open, otherwise you dead!

I hope Zambians are more discerning now. This very sentence should give anyone pause for thought. He should be laughed off the political Dias.
Unfortunately, there’s a section of the populace that will follow and vote for him based on this.

Yes, scholarship so that he can represent that poor, damn! Even Solomon asked for something knowledge! Whether he is lying or not thats his problem, but we should try and analyse why a person would want education instead of a bag full of dollars. Lets try and be selfless sometimes!

HE SHOULD NOT HAVE ACCEPTED THAT ON MORAL GROUNDS ESPECIALLY THAT IT HAD NOTHNG TO DO WITH THE POOR PEOLPE OF ZAMBIA BUT FOR THE FEW ELITE AT ZESCO.
LETS PUT IT THIS WAY, IF M.C WAS FULLFILING ALL ITS CAMPAIGN PROMISES, F.B WOULD HAVE STAYED WALLOWING IN THE REVENUES COLLECTED FROM THE FAR UNREACHED POOR PEOPLE.

So many questions:
While there’s everything good about more Zambians coming up to keep the govt in check, I’ve a few questions for our Bambo Walya:
1. Why ask HH & Nevers to welcome you to opposition politics when you guys can join forces to fight a common enemy? Is this the same GREEDY in Zambian opposition politics where everyone wants to be the President?
2. Is this an interim structure he has announced, or he’s also following the PF system where people are APPOINTED rather than VOTED into positions?
3. Why is Kambwili so bothered about Father Walya’s decision – especially if he’s convinced that this is something that will be of no consequence?

Mumba, can’t win, HH, can’t win, Fr Bwalya can’t win.. but if they came together and chose someone else… like me, for instance, then they stand a chance. My point is, the three or four parties must come together and give Zambians representation. PF needs to be at its toes!

Ideally, am looking to a single represantion. 50+1 ain’t easy! Not even by PF I suppose. This way we will be assured there no rigging! So opposition start mending your differences, but finnaly, all of you should go to one convetion where a leader will be announced and that is the party that should rule.
Currently, the existing presidents do not have the kind of material to oust the current presidency! Work on it!

Father Bwalya, you could have stayed at ZESCO and tried to reduce the recent electricity tarrif hikes so that you can save the poor majority in ZAMBIA, but instead you decide to run away and start bickering from the background.You lamentably failed at ZESCO as CEO! During your reign as chairperson, we experienced alot of loadshedding, but what makes you think we can trust you the affairs of the country? By way, PF is winning in 2016 come what may!!!!!!!
