you do not need to be an expert economist to understand that even if the government comes up with a transport system that will carter for the poor they are saying it might be cheaper yes but if you can reason like a normal individual you will require to incur costs to run any organization the so called UBZ come back will require great set costs two they will require administrative costs such us maintaining Clive Chirwa which if you reason will nerver come cheap strationery office equipment buildins and land Sandry expenses salaries for employees purchasing of the core center of the business which in this case are the buses they are talking about ETC there are so many we can even write a book tough i can not end here but pointing things like maintaining the Buses country wide under the same they will have to purchase spare parts which will have to be imported time is also important now is the they are saying there will be no subsidy on fuel which means the diesel and the petrol basically all petroleum products will be expensive in trying to provide for the so called poor in the society they will have to bring down the bus fairs lets say by 45% from the current bus fairs and the fuel prices will 25% more than hence there will be no profit for the organization to carter for the expenses Basically the cost of doing business hence in the long run such a business will not continue in existence i believe any business should be self sufficient that is just one point out of the many

Now we look at the agricultural sector which the say they are trying to grow it will be directly affected because it uses mostly petroleum products

I cant make an objective comment because i didnt hear him on the radio and know as to why he is supporting government on this.It is good he wasnt assorted for speaking his mind.Even the mighty american economy has huge subsidies which people think are for the poor.Bring them back please
