Joshua Titima’s Chipolopolo Place In Jeopardy

Power Dynamos first choice goalkeeper Joshua Titima’s national team place is in jeopardy after he snubbed last week’s national team camp for goalkeepers.

Titima who called in sick saying he had a shoulder injury was however heavily involved in the Kitwe side’s training during the week and was between the sticks as Power Dynamos beat Forest Rangers 2-0.

Titima has been dropped from the 24 member Chipolopolo team that will play Namibia on May 25 in an international friendly.

The Power Dynamos shot stopper came on for the red carded Kennedy Mweene in Zambia’s 1-all draw awy to Lesotho in a Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifier.

Herve Renard is currently weighing in on his goalkeeping options having summoned six local divers last week for assessmnet by goalkeeper coach Davies Phiri.

Phiri expressed shock when told that Titima was fully involved in sessions for his club.

Its good that the boy has bin left.He is very useless goalkeeper; I have confindence and trust that the three goalkeeps named 4 the named 4 the namibia game can do a beta job than ba Titima.Next time they should also consider Kelvin Musonda from kabwe warriours.

he has never impressed at any level, let him stay at power dynamos. Davy kaumbwa and Danny munyau are better goal keepers than ka titima.
