SATA Booed At AU Summit

President Michael Sata was booed at the African Union (AU) meeting after spontaneously breaking into uncoordinated commentary.

A journalist, shocked with the behaviour of President Sata which has become a norm to Zambians back home, tweeted several times as the Head of State also confused himself referring to AU as OAU – as the organization was previously known – during different moments of the congress.

Idriss Ali Nassah tweeted that President Sata had no sense of occasion as his superstitious phobia for bald headed men prompted the booing.

Bald headed men, it seems, are giving President Sata sleepless nights at home and abroad as he as attacked individuals like opposition MMD leader Nevers Mumba and his staff over such haircut.

“While talking about disability, don’t forget about the people without hair on their heads,” he said as all other presidents attending the meeting looked down in shame considering that people like South Africa leader Jacob Zuma is spotting a bald head at the meeting.

“In Zambia we don’t discriminate. Dr Kaunda once appointed a blind person into his cabinet a long time ago.”

And in opposing the proposal for Africa to have one passport, President Sata touched on the bald-heads again and the audience instantly booed him.

This time he could not ignore the booing and responded; “You are booing me, and with that attitude that’s why your leaders don’t listen to you.

“You can boo all you want but Zambia is saying the AU has no control over us. We make our own laws so no to this one African passport.”

President Sata also opposed regulations of the International Criminal Court to which Zambia is a party saying the west should “try their relatives whose jurisdiction are they under.

“If you find a Kenyan President or Zambia President is at fault, let the Kenyan or Zambian people deal with him not the Hague.”

During another session, President Sata was growing impatient with the delay in a meeting and again blew the top.

“I don’t know why I’m here wasting taxpayers money when in Zambia the people want water, education, health and police.”

Another tweet read, “Oh dear, Pres Michael Sata just spoke: ‘we have been sitting here for 3 hrs but for what? This is why Kamuzu Banda said meetings are useless.”

The non-Zambian journalist was shocked by President Sata’s theatre which most of his people are becoming accustomed to when he makes a foreign trip or appears in public.

“Zambians are some of the smartest people I know. How they came to be led by such truly baffles the mind,” Idriss Ali Nassah said, adding

“My God, Michael Sata is an embarrassment each time he is opening his mouth!!”

President Sata is no stranger to embarrassing moments, he has left a trail of destruction of his character as Head of State failing to observe the basics of diplomatic etiquette.

The problem is people want President Sata to emulate other President’s leadership.
No,he is Michael Sata and he should as Sata oughts to do.
If he had spoken in favor of the western world praising them,Headlines could have been all praises for Sata.
What really is wrong to complain about wasted time at a meeting.
As for me,he still remains my Zambian President until such a time.
    Critics can hang.

Very few people can understand the president of Zambia, His excellency Micheal Sata.

Please do not insult your president based on the reporting of that one who said what you heard! Be careful, Sata has a vast knowledge on matters that governs AU and our governance as a nation plus the evil goals of those who may want to unit Africa and bring a one passport issue.

Your reporting on the president is always biased why? Please be educated and learn to give people good news especially the ones that you know that it is coming from a reliable source.

Sata means well for Zambia and Zambians, please be careful your hatred for the president is not good.

If you are UPND or MMD just wait for the period of PF to end then if the Zambian people will vote you in office you will rule this nation and you will be representing this nation on those platforms but I doubt if you will be there one day.

I have mentioned this again and again. Zambia is undergoing very difficulty moments. Each day the world is witnessing very rare and embarassing comments from our politicians. Up to now Zambia has failed to find a replacement to the legends and respected leaders like Kenneth Kaunda, Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe,Pierre Kapika, Hary Mwanga Nkumbula and Nalumino Mundia. As a young boy i at one time or another attended their rallies. Their rallies were very serious and never used to make rare comments. Rare comments by the present leaders only show that they have no news over their achievements. If these people were really democratic they should have taken distance from politics long time ago. What we need is een energetic new generation of leaders.

@James. I’m with you all the way. These learned Tweets can’t tell the difference between being Oddball and making the difference. These are the same guys that are slowly killing the gospel – in fact they are the Christ killing bunch. If you doubt me read the gospel of Jesus – over turning tables right before the Seduces and Pharisees. And they called him a boozer – friend of drunks and prostitutes. AU is like watching an old movie.

They first called it “AOU” and now “AU”, what a drag! What are they going to call it tomorrow? Time wasters! They are everywhere! No wonder Africa is where it is today! Just because a Westerner has spoken, then we should fold our arms, no way! SATA am with you all the way! Shame them by making a difference in Africa – bald heads with no brains or wisdom!

I am sorry Mr. or Mrs. Dimma. Being baldd is not a sin. In fact the world cultures believe that people who are bald or grow grey hair at aan earlier age are the people who are worried and grow concerned about the sufferings of fellow human beings. while men with fat stomachs or big bellies are usually selfish characters and lonely eaters. They would rather see a begging blind mother dying in Cairo road while themselves walk in food shop to entertain themselves with big fatty chickens. Then walk out laughing.
