Post Newspapers Dissapoints Radio Macha With False Story It Carried

DENYING THE STORY WHICH WAS CARRIED BY THE POSTNEWSPAPERS DATED MONDAY 27TH MAY 2013.
We are deeply disappointed with the story that was carried by our colleagues (The post newspaper )dated 27th May 2013 where our radio station was reported having refused to host the UPND leader HH.
The story is not only fabricated but it was also hijacked ,the opposition leader never said he wanted to pay Kr 4000 to our staff so that he is allowed to go on air but only wanted airtime charges for his interview with us and also Mr Hichilema never said that he wanted to talk about the removal of fuel and Maize subsidies ,we find it very unprofessional for the post journalists/ editors to allow such a story which was incomplete to run in their tabloid ,We say its incomplete in the sense that the story was one sided where they needed a view of HH or any member of the entourage.
Our point with the UPND leader still stands like we agreed ,he is welcome to our studios provided we are notified in time.
On Saturday 25th May 2013 we couldn’t interview him due to some program mes that are sponsored by clients who come as far as Lusaka and Livingstone hence the time HH visited our station it was not going to be possible for us to sideline the scheduled program mes without notifying our clients, therefore we requested the opposition leader to bear with us.
we are not pushed or forced to write this statement but it is coming from what we stand for over the story. Radio macha has been sharing news stories with some media houses in southern ,Lusaka and central provinces but at no time did we found our story is negatively reported like what the post did on Monday 27th May 2013.
Being a media house aiming to inform the public ,no amount of intimidation will push us to favor any political party ,NGO ,CSO or Church grouping, therefore we shall stand to report a story the way it happened and expect our colleagues in the media to consult where they are not clear.
Otherwise Mr Hichilema is cordially invited to feature on our radio station any time he feels like.
THANK YOU!!

Obviously he might have said something concerning your refusal to interview him which you as a radio station are also not telling the truth. As much as we see this story and understand it comprehensibly, there is no smoke without fire. Mr Hakainde is a client just like any other and you thought you ve an oblgation to protect his skin.

TC, I also do not understand why they are refuting here. I have not heard that person say Mr. HH never came to the station. If anything, he is saying exactly what the Post said. The fact remain that Mr. HH wanted to crush into their programming which they refused him to do. Where then is a lie told by the Post here? They should have kept it as a secret to themselves rather than first blowing it out and later on they start panicking because HH has threatened them. Just tell HH to have manners capwa. What is the problem with you ba radio Macha?

If my company owes the govt of the republic of Zambia, it is my company not me which is oweing. Make your arguements clear I do not support Mmembe but its not him who owes GRZ its the company he was working for.

Have you ever heard anything about lifting the veil of incorporation? Then just shut up with your ignorance at law. In view of the criminal nature of the issues involved, that veil has been lifted and the company and its directors are identified as one.

People, people, people!… Radio Macha has just diplomatically verified that HH wanted to crush into their programing. The rest is immaterial. We all know HH could always say that PF is a dictator and blablabla!

Who can prove that HH didn’t produce the KR4000 to oil his way on air? No one. So end it here before ACC/DEC comes in. The bottom line is that HH wanted to be interviewed on Radio Macha and he was refused, just as The Post and Radio Macha have both said. End of story. Next!

By the HH must watch his step/words on the issue of subsidies. Will shall keep record of all he has been saying and reproduce it if and when he becomes President. He should not act like an NGO. Let him explain to us how he would maintain the subsidies instead of calling for protests. The MMD thought they would do better than KK on the issue but we all recall what followed. At least in my Town am seeing a lot of changes like roads being tarred and street lights being installed. If it was possible to distinguish the rich from the poor subsidies would be easy to implement. KK tried coupons but these ended in the rich people hands who started exploiting us.

You would be shocked if the ethnicity of all those insulting HH & calling him names are reviewed. They are kolwestans. People from this tribe are haters & very jealous. Very recently one of them Fr. Bwalya apologised to HH for hating on him without reason. He called on all Zambians not to believe what Kolwestans say about HH, that it is false. I’m glad most Zambian tribes have known the truth, that kolwestans just hate HH without reason. VIVA HH.
