Up to now the Mpika ZAMBEEF outlet is still selling the old stock of meat and other beef products containing Aromatic Aldehyde a chemical used to embalm dead bodies of human beings, Tumfweko has been briefed.
Asked one of the workers if they have removed the old stock he only said that all is from country choice which is not true.
“I even wonder if country choice has started producing mince , sausages, hooves and other beef products. Please send healthy inspectors to come and check this outlet, Before we get sick.” said the source.
Zambeef last week claimed it had with immediate effect recalled all imported beef products from its outlets in the country.
Zambeef Chief Executive Officer Francis Grogan announced at a media briefing in Lusaka on Friday last weeek that this is in view of recent media reports to the effect that there are dangerous levels of Aromatic Aldehydes in Zambeef’s imported beef products.
Mr. Grogan said the products have been withdrawn from market until the matter is fully investigated by the ministry of health to pave way for credible and transparent sampling and testing by the ministry and Zambeef themselves.
Mr. Grogan also said customers are the company’s main concern in the whole issue, stating that Zambeef would not knowingly supply them with sub standard products.

Those of us that work with this evil man know how crooked he is. Grogan CAN’T throw it away. The furthest he will go is to recall it here in Chisamba (huntley) farm and repark it. He wants to tell lies that he withdrew it? He knows that pipo can’t know what is imported and what is local. Deny it Sinazongwe.

Stop saying nonsense Zambeef isnt wrong, what is wrong is how the products came in. Is the government not supposed to protect us, who inspects the products when they are coming in. Zambeef might have a case to answer and so does the ministry of health

At first I doubted with the allegation concerning Zambeef meat but if one connects with the events in Chongwe, Choma, Kitwe and the refrigerator containers. Then these shows how weak our borders, how corrupt our food health personnel and how the devil is using ZAMBEEF chief executive officer Francis Grogan or Irish Beef Mafia Francis Grogan .Zambeef owns huge hectares of land for his Agric-Business Empire to poison Zambians
[[Francis Grogan: Qualifications: BSc Agriculture (Ireland)]]
Galuni Holding’s farming empire is (was) one-third of Zambeef farmland that’s including Lower Zambezi but the former had never imported offals from Lithuania[as he was a Lithuanian Jew] or Israel

Zambeef might be wrong but we demand a big answer from the Ministry of Health who has the responsibility of looking after us. Who was responsible for clearing these meat products into the country, the government must answer for this not hiding behind the blaming Zambeef. Publish full results of the tests as far as i know i havent seen conclusive evidence charging Zambeef of misconduct

1st thing to ask yourself is this, UK imports beef from Africa & South America- how come we are importing from them – who recently had a Horse Meat scandal?? That Horsemeat stockpile wasn’t thrown away, it is now being offloaded in places like our’s!!! Good to hear 2 trucks were impounded from Namibia. Another product, of which 12 trucks were impounded, is Tilapia (Bream) from Thailand – this fish is farmed with Hormones(Steroids)& other chemicals to fatten them – mainly feminizing hormones!
We have to learn to be vigilant & boycott buying foods that haven’t been cleared by food standards authority. For your own safety, buy from local butcheries & fish from local fishermen or fishmarkets. Buy live chickens etc etc.
