Lundazi Cop Accidentally Shoots Self
A lundazi police officer on Friday sustained serious injuries when he accidentally shot himself. Eastern province deputy police commissioner Alfred Nawa confirmed the incident that occurred around 09:00 hours. Nawa said the officer whose name had been withheld, was guarding Barclays Bank. ‘we are told that this officer, when he arrived at his point of duty, was trying to clear the gun, but in that process two rounds got into the chamber and expanded.
So the two rounds hit him by the side of the chest, and got into the armpit’, he said. Nawa said the officer had since been admitted to Lundazi District Hospital. “the doctors there have described his condition as serious but stable. So we are assured that he is not really in danger”, said Nawa.

Kasabula, the emphasis in that picture is to bring out the fact that these men in uniform can careless at times. Only that the article has deliberatley chosen not say that the cop/victim was careless. However, the picture says it all! Unlike the gutter and opiniated journlism you find at Zambian Watch Dog!
