Mwembeshi Man Begs Court to Reconcile Her With His Wife Impregnated By Another Man

A MWEMBESHI man whose wife has been impregnated by another man stunned the Kanyama Local Court when he begged reconciliation despite her dumping him.
This is in a case, in which, Thando Siziba, 26, of mwembeshi sued Judy Siziba, 19, also of Mwembeshi for marriage reconciliation.
But Judy who has remarried said she cannot go back to the arms of Siziba because he ill-treated her and their three children when they were together.
And in passing judgment, Justice Ngandu Mukuka threw out Siziba’s claim, saying the court had established he had not paid any bride price for Judy, therefore, she was not his wife and that there was nothing to reconcile.
During cross examination when Justice Ngandu asked Judy who was responsible for her pregnancy, she pointed out a man within the gallery who she said is her husband and has paid dowry.
Upon hearing that and with corroborating evidence from Judy’s mother, Justice Ngandu congratulated the man for having done things the proper way and said he was the legal spouse of Judy.
This sent the floor into jubilation while the women ululated and clapped hands at what they termed the right course of justice.
In his statement, Siziba said Judy left their home for her parents in December 2011.
When he followed her on two different occasions, Siziba said his mother-in-law’s reception towards him was cold but that did not deter him from chasing after the love of his life.
At his in-laws, he said he also got a rebuff from Judy who gave him a sack and a chitenge to sleep on outside the house.
The following day he said his mother-in-law told him never to follow Judy there again as she was going to hire some thugs to beat him.
After the threat, he decided to stay away from his in-laws’ home though he told the court he wanted his wife back home so they could look after their children together.
Siziba also told the court that despite another man being responsible for Judy’s pregnancy, he still wants her back.
In her statement, Judy said she could never get back with Siziba because he had no regard for her.
She said after they farmed cotton, he spent the proceeds on prostitutes without considering his family’s needs.
On another occasion when her father was ill, Judy said she asked Siziba for money but he told her to raise her own as he had none to spare.
This hurt her because when they had money from cotton sales, Siziba spent it on paying compensation as he had been charged with adultery.
“This man never took care of me and our children. My skin was rough and cracked as he never gave me money for lotion. I had to sew clothes with sacks, and to make matters worse, he would beat me,” she said.
Judy told the court that when they began living together, Siziba never paid any bride price for her.
With that, Judy told her in-laws that she was leaving their son and never to go back to him again.

Age is not an issue imwe, people get married at 14 and 15. stick to the story. In fact girls lie about their age. To me it looks like even the other 3 children are not Siziba’s.

@Njanji a 19 year old girl can have 3 kids by having sex and conceiving especially if she is fertile. go to any village and see young girls who have kids. some questions really are not worth asking.

When I graduated from UNZA I meet a young lady I was with in primary school. I had just turned 22 years old and had no kid and this young lady told me she got married immediately after flanking grade 9 twice at 17 and had 4 kids.
In the village that is all they do once they get married they pop out babies at great speed.

If really she is 19 and has three kids with Siziba, then he should have gone in for defiling an under-age. Unless those kids are triplets.
