DEC Raid Hamasaka’s House Searching For Drugs

Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) officers in the early hours of this morning raided the house of former Evelyn Hone College Journalism lecturer Clayson Hamasaka’s house in Chalala area in Lusaka.

The eleven DEC officers who raided Mr Hamasaka’s house around 03:00hours this morning had a search warrant indicating they were searching for drugs.

The officers are said to have turned the house into a mess as they searched for the drugs.

It is not clear whether they managed to find what they were searching for.

They had earlier grabbed all cell phones from Mr Hamasaka and his wife, according to Mr Hamasaka’s friend who confirmed the development to QFM News.

He also said the search could be connected to the suspicion that Mr Hamasaka is could be one of the people linked to the online publication the Zambian Watchdog.

This has George Chellah written all over it – settling scores. If so let the young man revisit history and go back to Sakala – the only one to be prosecuted from State House because he had stepped on too many toes and every one was happy for him to fall on his sword. History will repeat itself on this Chellah

Why are you not publishing comments that tell the truth about Hamasaka’s real character and not just portraying him as being persecuted?
