Jacob Back at Utrecht

AS clubs in Europe are lining up to capture Zambian forward Jacob Mulenga for the upcoming season, the Chipolopolo striker has returned to the Netherlands and is training with his Dutch side Utrecht FC.
Mulenga has been linked with a move from the Utrecht, where he has spent four seasons, to England.
The former Afrisport player has an offer from English FA Cup holder Wigan Athletic with other English clubs also registering interest in the 29-year-old Zambian. Premiership outfit Hull City, Championship side Nottingham Forest and Spaniards Real Sociadad are other clubs interested in the striker who spurned a move to Turkish side Konyaspor.
The Utrecht website said: “Jacob Mulenga, Tommy Oar and Michael Zullo are back again, after they had longer holiday because of international assignments in June.”. – Daily Mail

At 29 they will deflate his transfer fee. How can a top scorer for his club in Holland think of moving to a Division one club in England?

racism….racism….. Jacob must be sold for far more then the $1m. maybe $10m can do.

Just go to Spain, the playing pattern is similar to Zambia where we use our heads other than ‘punt & chase’ in England.

at 29 my friend you are in the evening of your career so the best destination is where there is the best money. So you have to play for money and make your pension not career progression. Your career as a player is less than 5 years from expiry date
