Explosion Causes Panic In Kitwe

AN UNKNOWN explosive device yesterday detonated in a bush opposite Buchi Hotel in Kitwe, causing panic and shattering windows in the nearby houses.
The device, which exploded around 13: 45 hours, shattered windows at the nearby houses belonging to Kitwe Boys Secondary School and brought down part of the ceiling board at one of the houses.
A window pane at Buchi Hotel was also damaged by the suspected bomb.
A check at the scene by the Zambia Daily Mail crew found a team of police officers led by Kitwe district officer commanding Fred Mulenga combing the scene to establish the type of device that had exploded.
Mr Mulenga confirmed the explosion but referred all queries to Copperbelt commissioner of police Mary Tembo.
An eye-witness, Mulenga Chewe of house number 28 , Kitwe Boys Secondary School teachers’ compound, said the incident happened at about 13:15 hours.
“We were cooking outside and something exploded in the bush … we all panicked and ran into the house, there was dust all over and four windows have been shattered,” Mr Chewe said.
Part of the ceiling board at another house next to Mr Chewe’s house was brought down by the explosion but the residents were not at home when the incident happened.
Efforts to get Ms Tembo proved futile by press time.

I wonder why you are called Saint when you are co segregative which is against the principles of Christianity. The most important commandment above all is LOVE. We are commanded to love all regardless of where the person comes from. We are living in a global village where a person has got a right to stay anywhere in the world. People have got reasons why they want to stay where they are, Zambians are scattered all over the world; others because of work, marriage, businesses etc. In fact foreigners are performing well in fields such as health, education and others. For example, most Zambian doctors have migrated to other countries for greener pastures, we have got a lot of Congolese who are doing a recommendable job in our hospitals. The spirit of segregation is demonic because LOVE is above all races.
