PF Will Have a Tough Time Engaging Electorates Come 2016 General Elections – AVAP

The Anti-Voter Apathy Project (AVAP) has observed that the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) will have a tough time to engage the electorates towards the time of the 2016 general elections.

AVAP Executive Director Richwell Mulwani says this is because the PF is allegedly not listening to what people are saying on many national issues.

Mr. Mulwani notes that the current situation where even the civil society organizations are not allowed to freely assemble to express their views is a worrying situation for a Democratic country like Zambia.

Mr. Mulwani has told Qfm that people in the country require a government that listens to their cry and that as far as the 2016 general elections are concerned the PF should keep it mind that such a trend that is prevailing in the country will have impact their chances to win the elections.

Iwe Enemy Mulwani what issues? You think a government can function if it continued to accept every suggestion? There cases where the government can do what others suggest not everything. They just changed the New Stadiums name after public oucry. The problem with you NGO’s is that you want to run government by imposing your ideas. You want your ideas, run for Presidency then you can do do what you want. You are like HH who wants to appoint a Chief Justice

To the contrary Mulwani PF will have an easy win in 2016 than in 2011.The reason is simple pipo are seeing infrastracture like roads where there was none, pipo are seeing electricity even if one has grass thatched house and these are the things that will make PF have an easy victory.People will vote for PF not on the basis of not been allowed to hold ralies or demos, but rather on basis of massive development which is taking place in every provice. So Mulwani do not cheat yourself.

This is completely wishful thinking- I do not support the PF but from the going of events, the PF is heading for a landslide victory. Three major events from the 2016 elections will be. 1. The rejection of the MMD, who I see winning 10 seats. 2. The resurgence of the UPND who will come in second place. 3. The formation of more breakaway parties from the MMD. Mark my words!

Saint Desperatious though you do not belong to PF, your analysis is taken as an’independent observer’ and you’re hitting the nail at the head more accurately. As things stand, no party can or will dislodge PF come 2016.

Already having problems in Solwezi East!
They are having difficulties explaining why Solwezi Chingola road remains a mess!
This is the road carrying NWP copper, contributing 60% to the National treasury.
Sata and his PF have proved that their government is not for all Zambians!
If you only want to take development to a select few, then you are wasting our time!
