3 Perish In Arcades Round-About Accident

Three people have died on the spot in a road traffic accident at Arcades round-about along the Great East road in Lusaka.

Police deputy public relations officer Charity Munganga Chanda in a statement issued to QFM says the accident happened around midnight last night involving an Isuzu Wizard registration No.ALE 3292 which overturned several times due to suspected excessive speeding.

Ms Chanda says the deceased in the vehicle which was heading towards Manda Hill from the University of Zambia direction include the driver and two other passengers.

She says the bodies of the deceased are lying in the University Teaching Hospital mortuary awaiting identification and postmortem.

Ms Chanda says Police have since launched investigations into the accident after two live ammunition believed to be that of an MHK 53 were found in the extensively damaged vehicle.

    Ba Zambia Police, the only rehearsed reason you give for all motor accidents is ‘excessive driving’.

      @Summer K , you left out ‘Suspected’ in suspected excessive speeding. I’m sure it could be the cause , because the road is very rough right at the joining point of the round about and if the Guy was speeding , its possible he mishandled the vehicle and climbed the pavement causing it to flip.

      But ba WELL your spellings are pathetic. Its;

      vehicle not vihecle

      Damaged, not dameged

      Gabon, not Goborn

      Disaster, not disestor

      Stadium, not steduim…

      By the way, what has the name of a stadium got to with a road accident!
