Sundowns Revive Mukuka Mulenga Interest

Mamelodi Sundowns have revived their interest in Mukuka Mulenga with the Zambian midfielder now expected to arrive at Chloorkop next week.

This all hinges on Power Dynamos agreeing to the improved offer that has been tabled by The Brazilians.

Sundowns have already had two offers both under R2-million turned down but having now upped their offer Dynamos are now keen to let go of their best player provided their sell on percentage of 30 percent is also met.

Negotiations between the two clubs are at an advanced stage with the deal most likely to be wrapped up this weekend when Sundowns return from their pre-season tour of Ghana.

Sundowns have long been chasing the 20 year-old who was voted the most valuable player at the 2013 Cosafa Cup and was the 2012 Zambian Player of the Year.

The Kitwe-based club has been holding on for a move to Europe for the Chipolopolo midfielder but with the interest from France and Israel failing to turn into anything tangible they have now been left with no choice but to sell him to Sundowns.

Mukuka Mulenga should have waited for CHAN tournament. He could have advertised himself to big teams very well there.
