Herve Renard has reminded Zambians that they will remember the work he and his assistant Patrice Beaumulle have done after he is gone.

The 2012 AFCON and 2013 Cosafa Cup winning coach in a rare engagement with the media on Wednesday afternoon stated that his future will be decided after the game against Ghana in September.

“After the game in September, I will decide what I want to do with my future in this country and people will decide what they want to do with me,” the straight talking Frenchman said.

“But you will realize the job I have done with Patrice my assistant when I will be far from this country.

This happens in life a lot of times, we appreciate the people when they are far because you realize that they were not so bad. I am telling you in advance what will happen in the future.” Renard said.

The 2012 CAF coach of the year has often come under heavy criticism ranging from his selection to the tactics he employs on the field of play.

He recently came under fire for embarking on a country-wide talent identification program.

You have Zambia proud. Even if you decided to go, you definitely would do so with your head held up!

Too bad but thats life, you cant be on top of a woman forever no matter how sweet she is you soon come down!

If he goes let him go very very far like Cambodia, New Zealand not SADC even Africa becoz we might starting feeling some jealous.

Its like your ex shifts with her new catch just next door then every night you hear her screaming and moaning from their bedroom! (…and she never did with you)

Yesterday it was Clive Chirwa, today it HR! HR, you have achieved what a lot of other coaches failed to do, and we can’t change that. If you decide to go, go with your head held high up!
