HH: PF is Under Pressure Following the Losses in Recent By-Elections

United Party for National Development (UPND) leader Hakainde Hichilema has charged that the Patriotic Front is under pressure following the ruling party’s purported loss of popularity throughout the country as evidenced by the losses suffered in the recent by-elections.
Speaking in an interview with QFM, UPND president Hakainde Hichilema says the ruling party has messed up on so many things which has angered the majority of the Zambian that voted them in office.

Mr. Hichilema says time has passed for the Patriotic Front to make up for the unfulfilled campaign promises because the people of Zambia are not ready to be cheated anymore.

He adds that he is aware that the Patriotic Front is very angry with him because his party has managed to penetrate in areas they did not expect the UPND to do so.

The UPND leader says his party is ready to stand its ground and tell the Zambian people the truth.

Meanwhile Mr. Hichilema has appealed to the Patriotic Front to stop contravening the electoral Act.

He says the ruling party should also allow the Electoral Commission of Zambia to operate independently.

If u go by numbers PF gained an extra seat in parliament. Its MMD that lost because their seats reduced by four. All those seats were MMDs.

Lets do the maths, mmd had 10 seats, upnd had 13 and PF had 76.then mmd put 4 seats up for grabs, from the 4,mmd retains 1,upnd gets 2 and PF get 1,who is the loser here?.

Any person who will read the comments above will tell that HH Mad Dog is a true and dangerous tribalist himself. Secondly, the way he talks about cattle, he is mocking some of us who treasure this domestic animal. Let HH Mad Dog know that when you say, “Nishi ifisushi fya ing’ombe has destroyed your brain” you are referring to all who love and keep cattle. Cattle lovers are found in parts of Muchinga (Chama), Eastern, Central, North Western, Western and Southern provinces. HH Mad Dog, you are the enemy of whatever political party you belong to.If I knew that party I would have nothing to do with it.

when i started reading this comment i thought it was going to make sense……you just wasted your time. Pipo lets try to reason and have a sense of clear analysis .. at the end of the day these are the pipo who are rulling us, we should be sending comments that will help them think in the way they are politicizing.
HH is jst trying to inimidate the big Man (SATA) at the end of the day its up to us the voters.

But, is it the opposition UPND penetrating any PF strongholds or it is the people who are simply getting frustrated at and disgruntled by the PF performance? What is UPND doing to penetrate the Copperbelt – do they have any party structures to talk about?

The advice is that UPND has a lot of work outstanding on the Copperbelt. They need to take positive and active measures if they want to make count. PF has been a let down to say the least – I lost my precious votes for them in 2011!

In as much as one would like to support HH, he is so inconsistent and only twists his statements to suit his ego. In Livingstone he asked the ECZ to resign, now he is on their side. No a smart move for a presidential aspirant – get real!!

Ba HH,whatever they call you, you are just a dull fellow, PF gained, you will never confuse people the way you are doing to your cattles.Going by numbers PF added a seat, count how many seats they had before elections and how many are they now, and you will see if they have gained or lost. If these seats were PF and they go to opposition,a PF would worry. But the midset of the people in these constituencies were for Opposition and they remained so. Only one out of 4 was convinced to vote for PF, this does not mean PF is losing popularity. If PF won all the seats they would be accused of rigging.
