‘SENIOR STAFF C.I.D @ POLICE HQ IS THE BEST OFFICER TO BE INVESTIGATED BY ACC NOT MARY TEMBO’

My heart bled after reading the story that Copper belt Police Commissioner has been suspended over and AAX finished donated Toyota Corolla when the is Senior Superintendent, a Senior Staff Officer at Police Head Quarters, a woman by the name of Lucky Munkondya.
This woman is the one who receives Crime Detection Funds (CDF) for C.I.D Officers and she receives it monthly and the allocation is KR 120,000=00, ONE HUNDRED AND TWEENTY THOUSAND KWACHA REBASED in old currency is 120 MILLION and this money does not work for the intended purpose instead this woman has become rich and has built a number of Houses in Mean wood Airport, Madido, Kapiliyomba ECT using CDF meant for Investigations and Courts for C.I.D officers and she has grown FAT and yellow like pawpaw for the cool cash entrusted to her by who I don’t know.
I say I don’t know because she brags that she has been in the same C.I.D staff office since 2003 till now and a lot of I.G’s and Director C.I.D’s have moved in these offices and out respectively whilst she remains eating the same CDF money. One day an officer based at HQ wanted some money to go out of Lusaka to attend court and she told him that money is not for courts he should go and see the principle accountant that he will cater for his imprest for court and he went to see the then Director Mr. Musamba who told him the same and the officer came to the office worried that it was the last time the courts warned him to attend failure to which he was going to be issued with a bench warrant.
The officer had just attained a Degree and he resigned and said he would not dare using his money to go to Court when Munkondya has been receiving KR120,000=00 meant for courts and investigations. Some senior officer have suffered transfers especially those in charge of Crime one (C1)because of asking where she takes the same money because no officer at Police HQ uses the same CDF.
She has been sa ying that she is on the safe side because she steals government money not some corrupt officers who receive money from the people they don’t know. She also stole a Toyota Hilux Van which was being used by C1 officers based at police HQ and the same van draws police fuel from Sikanze police Camp and its now being driven by his ZAF drunkard Husband, a police vehicle imagine? or she stole it because it was an exhibit but turned in police vehicle?
Can the president do something because the Government has removed subsides to make every one happy and yet this woman is happy not even worried about September increments. Let the ACC probe this woman because this is real theft not even abuse of office.
You see why am saying Madam Mary is suffering for a donation directly to her not this woman who has stolen enough not even the Chipata cop who was involved in brewery robbery can be compared to this woman who has stolen for 10 Years continuously can but this woman is a hard core. You can run but you can’t hide. you time is up. Aggrieved C.I.D Officer

The very first day of her entering that office and rejecting daily brown envelopes from the GERABO’s made Mary Tembo a marked person for blackmail.
Her former boss even wanted to quickly transfer her to Muchinga province when he was told that she was refusing to be bribed by the Gerabos.
She is not a dumb woman to mess up her career over a Toyota Corrolla.
Looks like criminals are almost succeeding in getting rid of their stumbling block in their copper stealing cartel on the copperbelt.

I agree with you and I feel sorry for this hardworking woman. It’s a pity she was tricked and now the Gerabos are celebrating. She is one of the few hardworking cops who stood firm on these criminals. I miss Dr Malama because he also proved to be hardworking when he was on the copperbelt.

And the writer is petty. How can he say his heart bled when he heard that Mary Tembo was suspended over a finished Toyota Corolla? If you are caught in corruption there is nothing like I got a small amount. The other person he is talking about hasn’t been caught and if he has enough evidence let him go to ACC. Ya Mary Tembo was a marked lady. The Gerabo’s complained about her tough stance hence this was planned to give her a corolla car and immediately raise the alarm.
Copperbelt police chief unless u agree to be bribed and be on the payroll of the Gerabo’s that is when u can last. Even Chinese have become GERABO’s. U get tough on them they get u out. Colombia type!!!!

Lusaka – Zambian authorities have arrested 45 people on suspicion of being part of a separatist movement, the defence minister said Sunday.
They were apprehended over three days last week after trying to hoist their own flag in the poor west of the country, which has long been rocked political tumult.
“So far 45 Barotseland activists have been arrested and are currently in police cells, although they have not been formally charged,” Geoffrey Mwamba told AFP.
“You can not declare a government within a government – that is treasonable.”
The suspects, whose leader is on the run, are expected to appear in court on Monday.
President Michael Sata ordered the military last year to deal with the movement to create a new state called Barotseland in western Zambia.

Ladies and gentlemen most Zambians are corrupt. Read what i wrote yesterday. But it is good if we cqn come out in the open and expose these things. If the government fails to act then we can say there is segregation but if we just complain then we are to blame.

Mary Tembo is a sacrificial lamb! She was simply tricked. We all know that she’s been hard on Jerabos. Recently some police officers in Ndola openly told The Post that they will always be on the payroll of Jerabos b’cause they apparently pay better than Govt! You think with such attitude Mary could have survived? She has been fighting the battle all by herself! I will miss you Ms Tembo.

I feel for Mary Tembo, I’m positive she will come out clean. As for this Woman at Force HQ, she just have to be transferred to either Mbala or Mumbwa since her Drunken Hubby is a ZAF Officer. If a case is established on her, let all her riches be forfeited to the State so that she learns a lesion.

Remember what has happened to my dear Dr. Malama when he put his feet down on his fellow officers who are on the pay roll on these so called jerabos, and when he stopped traffic officers to mann unnecessary road blocks. Police officers were busy writing in the post about crimes which are still happening. When u do not involve yourself in corruption in Zambia then u will be implicated in it.

It’s a good information but some times you whistle blowers are to blame. You mean for ten years nobody saw this? I think this was going to come out immediately that ‘Degree’ holder resigned and it was a good reason to forward as the officer resigned on principal and never wanted to be part of the team or organisation that is corrupt.

I feel the entire police service is now rotten. Every behavior exhibited by the junior police officers is learnt from superiors. I think we need to overhaul the entire service and retire in public interest all thoz culprits. Now they even just transfer thieving officers instead of dismissing them. The service has gone to the dogs indeed! Govt do something!

i have never heard military senior officers being suspended by the president let alone being sworn in like i saw the recently promoted commissioners for western and was it Luapula? Commissioners are like colonels and generals. when they are promoted and assigned positions, they need not be sworn in by the president.Only the Head of these wings is sworn in by the president. Just thinking and seeking guidance from those in the know.
