Opposition National Restoration PARTY (NAREP) LEADER Elias Chipimo junior has charged that it is insensitive for government to begin building the retirement house for president Michael Sata when he has not even gone half way through his first term of office.
Mr. Chipimo has told Qfm News that it is unfortunate that government has chosen to give priority to the construction of President Michael Sata’s house when there are serious needy sectors that require funding.
Mr. Chipimo wonders what criteria the ministry of works and supply has used when other former presidents have not had their Houses built.
The NAREP leader stresses that it is unacceptable to have mega resources being spent on President Sata’s retirement house when higher learning institutions are facing serious accommodation challenges.
He notes that the move by government is a total misplacement of priorities during a time when the country is facing budget deficit.
Mr.chipimo has since urged government to make a choice and come up with acceptable activities that will benefit all Zambians.

It is your constitution which allows such. In any case Elias can you point out which government is not insensitive. Even among ourselves do we treat each other as we should?

There is nothing wrong here, the constitution is quite exp recite that former head of state will have a house. Whether he/she is one week old on that chair, a house shall be built for him or her. Which misplaced priority is this Chipimo talking about? The only thing the PF govt has shown is pragmatism and magnanimity towards this, They have started it early which all past govts failed to realized especially president Sata’s predecessors.

Which checks and balances are you talking about that your Hakainde do provide, mediocrity? Just yapping anyhow like a decapitated hen? We know you pipo you used to insult innocent citizens at ZWD now you have changed camp. Mind you, there are two things here; checks and balances as you have said and showy pronouncements so that those pipo like your Hakainde who have no big following can put themselves on the front line.

Every body in a democratic state like Zambia can make noise, but that noise should be constructive not what your Hakande whom i believe is nothing but a laughing stock. You can call me any sorts of names but that will not change things on the ground. You’re UPND you believe in its ideology and me i believe in ideology of another party its like two parallel lines which seem not to meet. UPND will form govt quite frankly but the person who will lead UPND to victory is not Hakainde and its not 2016 mark my words! So you can keep on blah blah blah.

Iwe Ben10, can you construct a proper sentence in English and hold your own in an argument of ideas without spewing out sewer in a local language?
You are pathetically miserable!
I am a PF supporter, but in this case Chipimo has a point. This country needs infrastructure development and it is insensitive to divert funds from that need to building a house for a sitting president. Blogger Pressure is very right, who will maintain this house up to handover period in 2021? This is totally unreasonable and should be stopped forth with.

The truth will never be changed and by the way i do not believe in insults am so descent enough to handle any pressure without using emotions. Zamabia has approximately 14 million people and no political party will ever win general elections if its presence is only felt in 3 provinces mind you Zambia today has 10 provinces and for one to go to state house must have at least 6-7 provinces to his side. Now tell me which opposition political party has its presence in even 5 which is just half of total number of all the provinces that we have? For your own knowledge no political party will win elections without copperbelt and northern provinces convincingly. Zambian politics today its like that of USA no political party can win election there without winning the state of Florida. We know you want your Hakainde to be president but the question is where will he gets the those winning votes unless if you are telling me that southern province is Zamabia. As i said earlier on the one who will take UPND to victory is not Hakainde and its not in 2016 stop cheating and consoling yourself.

Just like the bible is misinterprated most of the times even the constitution is misinterpreted. The Constitution says the former president will have a house build for him. Right now a house is being built for Sata. It is government property and will not be handed to him until after he leaves office. The constitution also gives priveledges to former presidents, maintenance of their houses, security, office staff and so on.So Isaac is right. whether a house is built now or ten years from now, it is still government resources that are being used. in fact it is better now because the same house that will cost K50 million now will cost K250 million in ten years time.

You call me that you jackal? Your imbecility has taken its toll if you’re not careful you’ll end up feasting on dungs. We know Zambian politics even during the run up to tripartite elections you were all madly saying HH is already a winner but alas your rotten thought never came to pass. You really fail to read between the lines.
