Zimbabwe Used Ineligible Player Against Zambia ‘Chipolopolo to Qualify Instead’
A boardroom win for the Local Chipolopolo looms over the Zimbabwean counterparts, Tumfweko can exclusively reveal.
A source has disclosed to Tumfweko that Zimbabwe used a player who accumulated three yellow cards in the last three matches and that the news has sent shivers in the Zimbabwe football Association (ZIFA) in Harare after learning of their mischief.
Zimbabwe are at risk of being disqualified after fielding the named player in the match against Zambia yesterday Saturday 24.
FAZ is expected to file an official complaint to CAF over the same.
Should CAF rule in favour of Zambia then the local guns will qualify and participate in the 2014 CHAN to be hosted by South Africa in place of Zimbabwe.
Zambia fell 1-0 on aggregate at the hands of Zimbabwe in the final qualifying 2nd leg match played at estadio da Levy stadium in Ndola Saturday afternoon.

Ati “can exclusively reveal”, but you have “exclusively” concealed the name of the player involved which makes it a lie ba tumfweko! Secondly, faz has made it a habit of trying to sruitnize opponents when their boyz lose. The best team to proceed to CHAN is Zimbabwe! Equally, Ghana is a better team to go to world cup b’cause they have a hunger for goals as compared to chipolopolo.

Football is governed by the rules and these rules, are always applied unselectively wether a certain particular team played below par. If Zimbwabwe as a team featured an illegible player, my foot then Zimbabweans have no choice but to be displaced. CAF have no option but to follow FIFA the world governing body where this CAF is affiliated to.

Of course rules on card accumulation require abiding by just like any other, but we clearly lost the game and do not deserve to be at the finals in SA. We need to do better next time around. Ba Tumfweko some times are wishful thinkers.
