Mulongoti: PF Has Made a lot of Enemies Since Forming Govt
Opposition People’s Party (PP) President, Mike Mulongoti, has observed that the Patriotic Front (PF) has made a lot of enemies since it formed government in 2011.
Mr. Mulongoti says the PF should stop the witch-hunt and change their style of governance if they have to stay in power beyond 2016.
He says the PF government has practically quarreled with all the well meaning citizens including traditional rulers on the perception that they were supporting the opposition political parties.
He says unless the ruling party changed their style of governing the country and reconciled with the many they have made enemies with, Zambians would soon be celebrating their unceremonious exit from government.
He says there are many technocrats in the civil and public service that have realized that the PF got into government without any plan of how they were going to govern and that the country has now been left to run as if there was no leadership.

Mr Mulongoti has been in politics himself and he knows that it is not possible for the government to function properly if it aims at pleasing every Jim and Jack. Governance is a complex that cannot just be wished like akashimi. Even the next government will also make many enemies.

PF govt has many enemies today just like Mwanawasa’s govt why because each and very time they talk about the dangers of corruption which most of these civil servant do not want.All the corrupt free citizens or those who do not benefit in this vice are happy with what the PF govt is doing in terms of development.

The PF will not be freinds with all the corrupt people including those that sympathise with the evil ones.
The problem you finished politicians seat and see what attack to launch every time.
Please tell the people your agenda. Anyway you have said in your case fight against corruption is “witch hunt”. Your agenda is vivid on this one. Keep it up.

The issues raised by mulongoti are genuine. they tie in with the nepotism and bembalisation. Unfortunately we need another mwanawasa style of leadership to clip the hands out of the cookie jar of these kleptomaniacs.
