Renard Rates Himself ‘We Have Done Well’

Herve Renard says he has performed very well in his second term as Chipolopolo coach.

Renard’s future as Zambia coach remain uncertain following Chipolopolo’s failure to advance to the final stage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

His two-year contract ends next June.

“We have to look at what we did during the last two years with Patrice, we did very well in my opinion,” Renard said.

The Frenchman is credited for guiding Zambia to winning the 2012 Africa Cup in Gabon.

He added:”I am very proud.”

On contract extension talks, Renard said:”The priority to talk will be from Zambia and that is normal.”

Prior to the flopping of Zambia’s 2014 World Cup campaign, Renard had strongly hinted that he may leave his Chipolopolo top job this month.

When has zambia been this close to going through to world cup? When has zambia won AFCON? Problem with zambians is there easily forget all the good and stick to the bad vibes only, open up and think!

We failed to defend the cup not even to the second round we have never won an away game . what happened when he took zambia under 20 we were beaten.OUR TEAM IS MORE ADVANCED FOR RENARD. Zambians we have never failed each other Renard is taking our team no where. look at the way he misuses fwayo tembo ,chisamba lungu, katongo and HH, Extend his contract and you will end up paying him money that he has not worked for pantu muka mutanfisha pansila nga mwafilwa uku quarify ku AFCON

Most Zambians have mediocre mentality. Comfortable with mediocrity you cowards! A country full of people who were defeated from their kingdom of origin eg. Luba Lunda Kingdom.Running into Zambia you COWARDS, enjoying the rest from your defeat and ever accepting anything including rubbish that pipo give you. Renard is not a good coach. Our soccer team needs 2 improve greatly period.
