Commercial Sex Worker Urges State to Reduce Commodity Prices
A commercial sex worker has urged government to find ways of reducing commodity prices.
21 year old Miriam Nchimunya of Lusaka’s Kalingalinga compound says the current prices on major commodities like Millie meal and fuel are exorbitant for an ordinary Zambian to survive.
The 21 year old who has been in the sex business for three years now says she was forced to start prostitution due to hard life following the death of her father.
In 2012 several prostitutes in Lusaka’s Kanyama, John Laing, Chawama and Kalingalinga compounds offered themselves free of charge to anyone as part of their celebration after Zambia beat Ghana 1-Nil in an Africa Cup of Nations semi-final match.
