Chama: There Is No Tribalism In PF as Alleged By Kabimba
Former Patriotic Front Lusaka province Chairman Davis Chama says PF Secretary General Wynter Kabimba could not have been handed his position if there is tribalism in the ruling party.
Mr.Chama has told Qfm News that Mr. Kabimba should not take advantage of the silence of senior members of the party by cooking up negative statements.
He says it is unfortunate that Mr. Kabimba is now witch-hunting realizing that the party members on the grassroots do not want him anymore.
He adds that it is Mr. Kabimba who has been championing campaigns that the United Party for National Development (UPND) is a tribal party.
Mr. Chama has since advised Mr. Kabimba to be sober and desist from accusing some party officials of being behind calls by cadres to have him removed as party Secretary General.
Mr. Chama has reiterated his call on Mr. Kabimba to step down if he is truly loyal to the party and respects the views of the people that put him in office.

Tribalism is having a majority of one tribe in a party.In PF and it’s Government, the majority are Bembas, so PF is Tribal no two ways about it. Chama can’t see tribalism because he is not affected being a Bemba him self.

Maybe Bemba’s shud not contest any seat in 2016,will that make it right and next it will be HH being labbelled a tribalist because most of he’s cabinet will be Tonga’s.You simply work with what you have and improve as you go along coz seriously how many MP’s did Pf get from other provinces to have a balanced cabinet.let us change the way we vote zambia so that we can have a balanced cabinet.

PF was voted by a cross section of society (almost all tribes). It is not only Bembas who voted for Sata. Iam not Bemba but I voted for Sata. However, what iam seeing is that appointments are only going to Bembas. Bembas are really Tribal. Next election (2016) you will vote for yourselves and we will see if you will win.

First Kabimba is attacked by one tribalist called Kambwili and another tribalist called Chama comes to the defence of his tribesman. Tribalism is real in PF. It is a pity Zambians did not believe President LPM when he classied PF as a tribal party. There is tribalism in PF and this is sad.

@ Icishikululwa, you speak sense. PF is so tribal,more than any other political party. UPND can not be called tribal because they have not formed government thus have have no mandate from the people of zambia. Look at NW province, only deputies and no full carbinet minister(i berg to be corrected). Fili uko tuleya…

PF is reeking of tribalism from every pore. Its so nauseating. My brothers and sisters in PF, please take heed and stop this. Its killing our country. We are supposed to be one and united. There is power in unity. Even positions in government should be given to deserving people and not based on tribalism. No triba, no matter how small want to be looked down upon. After all the best president this country every had i.e. PLM came from a minority tribe. ONE ZAMBIA ONE NATION.

Unfortunately when PF tries to balance the cabinet with MP’S from opposition you the same person will say they are weakening the opposition,so who is being the hypocrite here by the way the same MP’S will be expelled for trying to join the cabinet.the problem is the voting pattern which we need to change.

We did not choose to be born Zambians please, give us a break on tribe, the only problem we have is domination over small tribes a way must be found to stop this, an American live in America there is no way the other American can claim to be more American than the other, same applies to bembas in Zambia, they should know that this country belongs to Zambians no tribe that is it.

Can somebody dispute that our well loved but crooked Bemba brothers are ‘tribalistic’ or ‘neponistic’. Denying a problem exists is enough ammunition to destroy our beloved Zambia. Accept when there is a problem for it to amicably sorted out, lets not be naive in our 1,Z,1,O motto because, KK including the BRE itself has failed to come out in the open about their stances on the BRE (Barotse)issue. As for Sata, my opinion is that he is not umubemba konkwo because they have a lot of issues to settle with the BRE ‘Bemba”Mwinelubembe and the group’.

PF is Not tribal. Check the ministerial appointments plus some party positions. and Kabimba Himself is not bemba but look at the powerful positions he has been appointed to… Kabimba has just lost track of his ambitious move to become president forgeting that H.E the President Mr Sata is a political genius.

I agree with Mr Chama but he shud ve gone further and mention the problems in PF of which one of them is Leadership problem, i hope they have time to put their house in order or else HH will have an easy victory and i suppose he will be accused of Tribalism aswell but frankly speaking the whole cabinet can come from one province i woudnt mind as long as they can perform rather a mixed cabinet of non-performers.

We are sencing some tribalism because the whole issue started from GBM and kambwili did not even tell GBM that he was wrong by making endosements prematurely,instead he attact kawimba who did not say any thing.we are seeing more tribalism in the PF than any other party that has existed in zambia in terms of every thing appointments,development,preorities,promotions,firing of people from and to government positions etc go through them you will see the equation which is very inbalanced.

We are going to remove this thing so called tribe, we will only remain with only Zambian from January, 1 2014.It is causing a lot of division among ourselves.
